About me:

I'm a Rancher and Primitive Contractor. Happily married for 19yrs, with two grown boys. Founder of three Ron Paul Meetups. My main one is in Fredericksburg, TX. (in the Hill Country out West of Austin) We have about 120 members; 50 of whom are seriously active. We took over our local GOP County Convention this year and really got the Neocons-in-Charge to take notice. Now they're actually coming around and respecting us. Also had the honor of being a delegate to the TX State Convention for Ron Paul. We were lucky enough to have "one of our own" (yes, a Ron Paulian) get elected to the Nat'l Convention. In fact, it was the first time our County had EVER had a delegate elected at the Nat'l level (like I said, even the neocons were ecstatic). In my limited spare time, I'm a colonial Texas reenactor: a Colonel in the Texas Army (www.earlytexashistory.com/TexasArmy) and a Board Member and on the Color Guard with the Texian Legacy Assn. (www.texianlegacy.com). I had the profound privilege of leading a c.1836 TX Color Guard for the opening ceremonies at the Buckhorn Saloon in San Antonio for Ron Paul at his appearance there in July of 2007. My County used to be in Ron Paul's congressional district but was removed during the most recent gerrymandering (darn it!!) I've been a strong supporter of his for about 10yrs now. We're now actively engaged in carrying on the rEVOLution in our area via the Campaign for Liberty. We plan on being a serious thorn-in-the-side of anybody who stands in the way of liberty! If we have anything to say about it, every Dog Catcher, City Councilman, and any other elected/appointed official in our locality who isn't a Constitutionalist will soon find out that they're being opposed by someone who IS!!! Remember folks, the Ron Paul Campaign was just the catalyst that fired-up the rEVOLution. There was NEVER any way that the people in power were going to allow him - or anybody else who wasn't part of their master plan - become President. You can't start at the top and work your way down. This rEVOLution will be won by winning in your own little area; whether that's in a tiny township (like mine) or a small district within a giant metro-area, it'll be the little victories that add up to an eventual combined force to be reckoned with! Concentrate on your own locality, while coordinating with your immediate neighboring districts (so the "left hand knows what the right hand is doing") and you WILL make headway.
