About me:
Born in Oregon, third eldest, into a family with six other siblings. Raised up outside of San Francisco. Influenced by the New Testament Biblical teachings of my Mom, along with the Methodist and Lutheran dogma and doctrine. Became an agnostic in the late sixties. (Regained my faith and belief in a 12 step program, of which I am a 20 year member.) I was also subject and greatly influenced by the political and social upheavals centered around San Francisco, while in HS and college, in the sixties. Moved to Oklahoma in 1981 and was married for 9 years. Raised two children while married and as a single parent. Currently, I have a precious granddaughter, who will be 3 in July. I began my political activity in the early 90's. I see now that my long time interest in history, cultural anthropology and politics is culminating with my current studies and activity. I have a Biblical, political epic in my head that starts with the struggles between Noah's son, Shem and Noah's grandson/great grandson, Cush and Nimrod (who was the 1st to war against his neighbors). This epic ends with our current day struggle for freedom and liberty and offers up a sketch of what the political structure of tomorrow would look like (a combination of our current system with another, whose birth was in 1935) in which freedom and liberty can be sustained for all. Just as European history taught our founding fathers the need to cut the ties between church and state, history is telling me that the problem 200 years later, lies in, first, not recognizing the Bible as the consummate political book. We then fail to recognize that the New Testament Law (the spirit of The Law) was presented and separated itself politically, from the Old (the letter of the law). For in law, when a new contract is signed, the old becomes null and void. As long as we accept the hierarchal Mosaic constitutional structure of the old covenant (contract) that allows "men to rule over man by force (of law or war)", we are committing ourselves to bondage*. New Testament *Gal 4:24 Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar. KJV (Moses, who married into Agar's family, received his covenant, the Ten Commandments, at Mt. Sinai and set up a constitutional government) Old Testament Ex 18:25 And Moses chose able men out of all Israel, and made them heads over the people, rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens. KJV
