Historically, the AniWahya was the largest and most prominent clan, providing most of the war chiefs and warriors. In the old times, the AniWahya kept wolves and wolf-dogs close to them, as we keep our dogs today. The AniWahya are the Warriors, the Teachers, and the Communicators.
To understand the AniWahya, one needs to know the traits of the Wolf: intelligent, curious, loyal, family-oriented, strong, cooperative, swift hunters, vicious protectors. Wolves are playful and fun-loving, but they don't tolerate foolishness. One cannot fool a wolf for very long. Wolves honor family structure and order. They work together for the good of the whole, and they will sacrifice themselves to protect the Family unit. In times of war one of our scouts was called wolf .
In ancient days we hunted like wolves, running after our game and attacking in packs. Like wolves hunt. Their pack structure is defined that way so they can bring down just about any game they are after. Attacking the weakest points first. To wear the animal down.
As did we, in our war methods. Going for the weakest defenses first. Good sound military advice.
