Early summer of 2007 my friend told me about this Republican candidate for president that was against the war (he had seen him on the Colbert Report). So we YouTubed him and watched a few videos/speeches and things just started clicking in my brain. Everything he was saying was making sense and I was amazed that a politician could talk like that. Long story short, I visited his website, signed up, found out about a local Meetup group, changed party affiliation (I'm a democrat), and lead the Students for Ron Paul group at my University. But, like Dr. Paul said... that was just the beginning.
Since then I've been absorbing as much knowledge as I can about history, politics, religions, psychology, just everything I can think of to make myself more well rounded and able to inform others. I carry a pocket Constitution and I never meet someone without gearing the conversation towards politics some how. Since graduation I have been looking for a job in the environmental field, but I've been keeping in mind that I want to eventually be in media entertainment or politics... wherever I can help the most people.
