Sometime around last summer I started to realize that something was very wrong in our country. My family and I were pretty apathetic toward politics and current events. It wasn't until around November - the money bomb that we found out about Ron Paul. Subsequently, I did quite a bit of research and quickly became "up to date" on many topics about the current problems in our country. I also relearned some history from a much different perspective than what is taught in almost all textbooks - thanks to the internet.
We joined a few meet-up groups and became active in the Ron Paul Revolution! We had fun making signs and sign waving. I also became a precinct leader and canvassed door to door. I'm a delegate in my state, but unfortunately I can't go to the convention because Ron Paul didn't take first place in my state. :(
I recruited some people by canvassing and we're busy trying to get more. We have made and given out many DVD's to try to educate other Americans. We like to have people over to our house for dinner or dessert and get to know them. We believe that we need to "wake up" as many people as possible to join the Freedom Movement.
