About Amit Singh
Amit Singh, an Arlington small-businessman, is committed to protecting his nation and serving the people of the 8th District.

Amit Singh Today, we are in the midst of a dangerous trend. Like many of you, Amit Singh is unhappy with the direction our government has taken us. Our economy is weakening, the national debt is growing, energy and food prices are inflating, and families and individuals are feeling pinched. Yet the government continues to extend its reach into almost every facet of our lives, harming our economy and mortgaging our future. Additionally, our freedoms and our rights have been harmed by questionable measures such as the PATRIOT Act, the REAL ID and the suspension of habeas corpus.

Career politicians claim that their ideas for larger government will solve our problems, but those ideas have instead produced a system that slows economic growth, creates dependency, fosters corruption, and limits our freedoms. Despite this poor track record, those who ignore our rights and bankrupt our nation continue to be reelected. Ask yourself, are you better off now than you were a decade ago? Is your family truly safer? Do you have quality, affordable health care coverage? Has your daily commute improved? Can you even afford your daily commute?

Amit’s Vision for the Future
Amit Singh envisions a more transparent, more efficient, and less bureaucratic government. More transparency means that the people will know which Congressmen repeatedly waste our tax dollars. More efficiency means lower taxes, a stronger economy and a safer nation. Less bureaucracy means faster and more responsive care for our injured veterans.

The politicians have bankrupted our country and have left our children indebted to the Federal Reserve and foreign nations. A bankrupt country cannot provide services for its people. A bankrupt country cannot defend its borders. A bankrupt country cannot preserve our rights. If you believe that Washington must represent the people rather than the corporations, the labor unions, and the special interest groups; if you believe in restoring our Constitutional rights to life, liberty, and property; if you believe in bringing a REAL change to Washington, then join Amit Singh, the Thomas Jefferson of Northern Virginia, and his Vision for the Future.

Who is Amit?
Born and raised near Richmond, Virginia, Amit graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. The son of immigrant parents, Amit learned the importance of family, community and hard work.

After graduation, Amit moved to Arlington to work for NASA and the Department of Defense. A few years later, he then started his own small business, which currently works with the U.S. Intelligence Community and our soldiers and marines on a daily basis. Throughout his career, Amit has personally seen the threats to our nation and has worked tirelessly to keep his country safe.
