As there are no indications that Ron Paul will be invited to speak at the GOP Convention in St.Paul/Minneapolis, the Presidential candidate now plans to hold his own convention in the Williams Arena at the University of Minnesota on Sept. 2. The venue could hold more than 14,000 people for the all-day event.
Ron Paul’s spokesman Jesse Benton said: “This isn’t a protest. This is a celebration of limited government and Republican principles.”
