We have new information, just in overnight, which completely supports a reasonable conclusion that we are now at the time of 'pickups' of People who do not respond to or accept this authority or demonstrate the demanded respect or response and paperwork as to the nature of the detention. Detainees shall not be given any due process rights, and may be detained indefinitely w/o legal process.

The "traveler" [not 'driver'] in this video has done a fine job, better than most, of causing the aggressive HLS INS agent to cease/desist with the incident, by remaining on focus: "AM I BEING DETAINED??" "AM I FREE TO GO??" By compelling them to answer one's question, one gives no grant of authority or accepts no offer to contract with the U.S. in the form of its compelled or induced [by obstruction and threat of force] demands to perform. Once the agent realized that she could not gain 'agreement' or 'acceptance' and the man was not arguing constitution or common law or actually refusing anything, but was first establishing the fact basis for their authority to do what they are up to, the incident shifted. Unfortunately, the general run of local, state, and federal agents now all operating under HLS as deputies, will not treat such responses in the manner this woman did by agreeing that the traveler should pass and not be detained further.
This is the beginning of the Black Boot raising of the 'force level' against America under fascist Executive Authority.
We have also just been reassured that HLS is operating through each State DMV State Trooper Division and that their new scanning technology will be in operation now that it is tested and 'calibrated'.

That guy

did everything he should have done and had the right to do. I can recall a couple years ago watching a video that showed what to do when stopped by the police. I did a quick search and couldn't find it but this one here is very similar. But like Tom says a couple years from now they will probably just blast you with a tazer and then kick the snot out of you while your incapacitated..

This is terrifying and awesome

It's terrifying in that the person was stopped and that we are already this far down the road to the police state. It was awesome that victory was still winnable and this gentleman had the self-possession and wits to keep his focus and make them back down. Unfortunately, in the years ahead they may just drag him out of the car and tase him.

The groundwork has been layed far in advance

by the robed jurists of injustice at the U.S. Supreme Court - DUI roadblocks came first to protect all the children's (the rabid prohibitionists at MADD had a lot to do with this) from the drunk drivers now they can do roadblocks for "personal safety checks" i.e, seatbelts to protect us NOT from other drivers who are drunk, but from ourselves. Next came "license and insurance check rooadblocks" to save us not only from other drivers and ourselves, but also to save insurance companies from us and to keep those premiums flowing.

I suppose next there will just be vague "checks" to presumably check our "papers" to make sure they are in order (similar to the insurance and license checks). In reality, the roadblocks were never for "drunk driving" or "seatbelts" - -as once they had you stopped, they checked for anything and everything to either cite or arrest you for (license, insurance, registration, etc...) - - -and if you looked the part - search you for drugs. These methods are very similar in intent and purpose to the general warrants used by the British in the colonies and which led to the creation of the 4th amendment as a bulwark against the State. Had the Sup Ct not writ the 4th out of existence, I would say all these practices are blatantly unconstituional as they are suspicionless seizures of motorists and a direct restraint on freedom of movement; if only temporary.

You shall be deemed guilty until proven innocent!!!

“Liberty—the freedom from unwarranted intrusion by government—is as easily lost through insistent nibbles by government officials who seek to do their jobs too well as by those whose purpose it is to oppress; the piranha can be as deadly as the shark.”

Looks like my prognistacation was correct

see the following linked story about Baghdad style roadblocks in D.C.

http://www.dailypaul.com/node/51724
Here's a taste of the constitution shredding goodness being served up:

"D.C. Police Chief Cathy L. Lanier announced a military-style checkpoint yesterday to stop cars this weekend in a Northeast Washington neighborhood inundated by gun violence, saying it will help keep criminals out of the area."

"Starting on Saturday, officers will check drivers' identification and ask whether they have a "legitimate purpose" to be in the Trinidad area, such as going to a doctor or church or visiting friends or relatives. If not, the drivers will be turned away."

Dont worry, the terrorists hate us for our "freedom." The man on the talking box told me so.
