What have you done to break the Gasoline Stanglehold?
Posted by ronthepoet on Sun, 06/01/2008 - 14:06 in My name is Ron Hatton, and I am an inventor and hobbyist.
Like many hobbyists, my project base runs from gardening to woodworking to electronic theory. I put these all to use as regularly as the world (and my wife!) allow, always dabbling in the unique and off-center research.
My latest passion is fuel systems. It started in 1992, when I made a car run off gas fumes. Result: 18.6 mpg to 108.3. I transferred my energy on that into H2O conversion and have found many others who are doing this. As a result, I felt I should share what I do with you here, and invite any and all back-yard experimenters to do the same.
If you're just curious, then read.
If you want to help, then roll up your sleeves, pull out your DVM and your o-scope and your soldering gun and let's get to work!
To start with, I invite you to do a simple Google search. Type in (use the quotes) "Run your car off water" and hit the magic button. Now, before you buy any of these, I want you to know that, should you be able to contain your enthusiasm, you'll find that most of the "For-Profit" pubs are 99% public domain stuff. I've spent a few hundred dollars on stuff that was hastily pasted into a new document then resold, when in the opening remarks it is clearly stated "I put this into public domain to do with what you will."
So do what you want. I've found the BEST plans are (usually) free of charge. They are published by people (like US!) with passion for the benefit they want to promote on this planet.
Freedom from the stranglehold of the oil companies would be a good thing!
Beside, I think the Bush family has enough money, and my pile keeps getting smaller!
So, do some research. Then, jump on in and share what you've discovered!
I do NOT want this to be a "Strictly business" forum! I want you to feel free to discuss your economic issues as well. ANYTHING to do with the mis-management of the oil industry rtelating to the benefit of the people is welcomed and ENCOURAGED!
After all, this is what got me fired up in the FIRST place!
It's bound to fire you up, too.
God bless you all, and keep you safe and remember:

It's interesting how this idea is still pretty isoteric. I have been researching it for over a year now and for the last 6 months have been putting my own together in my spare time while grasping the technology expertise I never had before. Trying to actually understand what is going on and making time in a busy life seems to drag my projects on longer than wish. Luckily knowing many people doing what I do allows me to network and bring others together. It also takes an open mind to imagine things in a world of pervasive consciousness that there is an authoritative absoluteness that prevents others to even use themselves as ginea pigs.
I hope to have the module done this week when I have the rest of the components from online.
I would have thought it would be done by now but time is a huge factor.
I posted this in the forums months ago and got very little response from anyone about doing it but now it's more apparently becoming a dire need for some.
Discussions also exist here:

The Hydrogen Fuel Cell , sorry to say I doubt will ever be mass produced for consumer use.
While there has been a huge following around the world since Stanley Meyer had patented his
Water splitting cell which ran on milliamps, even Meyer was stopped by the power mongers.
While they don't mind that all these backyard tinker's and hobbyists play around and make these
fuel cells to help boost a few miles a gallon from their personal vehicles, the hydrogen on demand
system that would help set the masses free from the Oil Barons (IMHO) will never be produced.
Look what has happened to every Inventor or Scientist throughout History who has came up with
a "free energy" device. They have been murdered or vanished mysteriously. My grandfather knew
Pouge and told me about his vapor carb that got 200 mpg when I was just 12 yrs old. How about
E.V.Gray ? The list goes on and on...
One ot the reasons I say it won't happen is they (Oil Barons & Money Mongers) are trying to find a way to store the hydrogen so they can set up fueling stations rather than let us produce it on demand as Stanley Meyer did.
Please don't misunderstand me , I'm greatly in favor of a hydrogen economy , I just don't think that
those in power throughout the world will ever allow it to happen. Also please don't confuse this
pessimism with a disinterest either because I have written a book (2/3's) about the history of hyrdogen.
Below is a list of those involved in it's early humble beginning :
Robert Boyle (1627-1691)
Sir Isacc Newton (1642-1727)
Henery Cavendish (1731-1810)
Joseph Priestley (1733-1804)
Antoine Lavoisier (1743-1794)
Alessandro Volta (1745-1828)
John Dalton (1766-1844)
Sir Humphry Davy (1778-1829)
Michael Faraday (1791-1867)
While there are many others who have been given simular credits on electrolisis and hydrogen
around the world, these are the most notorious.
My book also goes into the 3 isotopes of hydrogen. Protiun, Deuterium and Tritium.
The book isn't ready for publishing at this time but it could be if I spend more time at it.
It also goes into various cells....Daniel cell, Grove cell , Gravity cell, Leclanche' cell etc...
as well as various batteries...(batteries are just the opposite or reverse of fuel cells.)
Keep up the good work Ronthepoet and I'll keep up my experiments.
Glad to see you too are getting the word out! Well done!

We may never know. Hmmm...Anyway, this is a topic of great interest to me. As some of you may know from some of my previous posts, I've just, recently, finished designing, constructing and installing my first water electrolysis device to produce HHO gas on demand to be used as a supplemental fuel additive in my experimental hybrid vehicle. The experiment is ongoing and producing some promising results.
In the near future, I plan on posting, as content (not in the forums), a journal type of presentation of my experiences, mistakes, successes, test results, details of my designs...so on and so forth...
For now, though, I would like to introduce the basic concepts of what I am doing.
Here is some of the more technical information (from Georgia State University) for anyone who might be interested:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The electrolysis of one mole of water produces a mole of hydrogen gas and a half-mole of oxygen gas in their normal diatomic forms. A detailed analysis of the process makes use of the thermodyamic potentials and the first law of thermodynamics. This process is presumed to be at 298K and one atmosphere pressure, and the relevant values are taken from a table of thermodynamic properties.
The process must provide the energy for the dissociation plus the energy to expand the produced gases. Both of those are included in the change in enthalpy included in the table above. At temperature 298K and one atmosphere pressure, the system work is
W = PΔV = (101.3 x 103 Pa)(1.5 moles)(22.4 x 10-3 m3/mol)(298K/273K) = 3715 J
Since the enthalpy H= U+PV, the change in internal energy U is then
ΔU = ΔH - PΔV = 285.83 kJ - 3.72 kJ = 282.1 kJ
This change in internal energy must be accompanied by the expansion of the gases produced, so the change in enthalpy represents the necessary energy to accomplish the electrolysis. However, it is not necessary to put in this whole amount in the form of electrical energy. Since the entropy increases in the process of dissociation, the amount TΔS can be provided from the environment at temperature T. The amount which must be supplied by the battery is actually the change in the Gibbs free energy:
ΔG = ΔH - TΔS = 285.83 kJ - 48.7 kJ = 237.1 kJ
Since the electrolysis process results in an increase in entropy, the environment "helps" the process by contributing the amount TΔS. The utility of the Gibbs free energy is that it tells you what amount of energy in other forms must be supplied to get the process to proceed.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To the uninitiated, the above can be a little misleading. At first glance it appears to take an enormous ammout of energy to produce a certain amount of HHO gas from an equal amount of water. In fact, a huge volume of gas can be produced from a small volume of water with very little energy. Still, the fact remains that, in the purist terms of energy, it takes more real energy to produce the HHO gas than the real energy that can be derived from the gas afterword. That, however, does NOT mean that significant economic benefits cannot be derived from this conversion of energy. It is not a scam.
I'll explain more about this later, but for now, I think I'll allow for input and/or questions.
Are there or are there not metal alloys that would act as a catylist to reduce the energy required for the breakdown of the water molecule to it's elemental substrates? I ask this in sight of an experiment I'd like to try for myself: using solar energy to derive Hydrogen and Oxygen gas that would be used in a fuel cell that would power the car. If the system works very little waste would be observed and very little fuel - water - would have to be added.
Let me know your opinions.

First, I thought I should share with you a link. http://www.runyourcarwithwater.com/?hop=2bqiang will take you to the file I mentioned. The base of the plans seems to be good, but when the (original) author, one William (Bill) Power states-and I quote:"... the technology in it has been placed in the public domain." my interpretation is the copyright may have a question or two regarding validity.
I'm not a copyright lawyer, so I won't promote sharing of the file. Besides, I found it lacking in some respects that I'm working on solving right now. Mostly, just insufficient documentation on the design specs and methodology. When I'm done (since the "Technology has been placed in the public domain" I will be re-writing the assembly manual with an eye for clarity, detail, alternative methods and design.
When I'm done, the WHOLE THING will be placed on the web-SOMEWHERE- free of charge.
Hopefully, we'll have a full set of testimonials by then.
Whatever your decision, decide! Then, ACT. This is what separates us from them. We do, while they do naught.
On to a few other links:
I love Coast to Coast AM. You can find their site at www.coasttocoastam.com and you will find it a source for a lot of wierd stuff from Cryptozoology to UFO's, but they are respectful of all their guests and let them speak their piece. The most respected people on the fringe usually get an appearance with George or Ian sooner or later. Some appear many times.
Whatever your "radical" theories, you can find an already well-established network of folks at Keely Net. I highly recommend this site, but take everything you view with a grain of salt. Bear in mind that not everyone "out there" validates their theories before posting them as fact. http://keelynet.com/
Urban Survival is one of the sites I found from listening to Coast. Their at http://urbansurvival.com/. I've heard George and Cliff, and they sound truly reputable. Add to this the fact that I have a weighty background in guidance control technologies, and I can vouch for them in many cases. I only hesitate to say ALL because, unlike our fearless leaders, I can make a mistake, as I'm sure you have, too!
I just signed up for this course to see what they have to say. I'm sure it's going to be heavy into the marketing aspect, but there seems to be some meat to their sizzle. http://www.water4gas.com/7days.htm
That should be enough to get you started, or to feed what you've already done.
Again, be wise when you're deciding what technology to apply to your own situation.
And always remember to wave at the kids in the back of the bus!
