Here's How Our BreakTheMatrix Radio and Television Networks Will Operate-- Part 2

In Part 1 of this article we presented our overview plan to create and broadcast BTM Radio content through online streaming and an affiliate network of "off-- Internet" terrestrial radio stations. Here are the specifics of our plan.

The BTM Radio online stream will feature numerous hosts broadcasting from Hollywood and remote locations in America and worldwide. Our most outstanding hosts (likely two or three in number) will then be chosen for "off-- Internet" syndication through terrestrial affiliate stations. The market will decide who these hosts will be. You-- our online audience and our members at www.BreakTheMatrix.com-- will be asked to help in the decision. Together we'll select the very best; and these champion hosts will then carry our message of optimism, hope, freedom and prosperity out to the American people.

Creation of an affiliate network of terrestrial stations is a major step for BTM Radio. There are no shortcuts; there is no easy pathway; and the process will take some time. It's one station at a time; one market at a time; and we know there will be difficulties. Our message will not find favor with Clear Channel, or other existing media monopolists. They won't want us, but that's OK. We don't want them either, and the good news is this: in every significant market there are radio stations looking for fresh new content to attract audience. They will find us; we will find them. Building an affiliate network-- it's a matter of time, and effort, and (yes) money.

BreakTheMatrix Television (BTM Television) presents different challenges than we face in the radio medium, but television offers different opportunities as well. TV content creation is complex as compared to radio. Lights, camera, action, sets, sound, makeup-- all these things (and more) make the creation of mainstream quality television content a unique form of art. It can be done, but we should not fool ourselves. Television artistry is a special kind of magic, and we must be highly creative if we are to succeed in this competitive marketplace.

But here's the good news. A single successful show can generate sufficient revenue to pay all our bills, and so much more. This is the business model of Hollywood today, and it's always been like that. One blockbuster movie supports the studio. One successful sitcom pays for the mainstream network. One "Sopranos" keeps HBO in the black. On and on-- it's tried and true-- a single breakout show drives the revenue side. That's the Hollywood way; and that will be our way. Can we do it? See Part 3.

A reality based TV show

A reality based TV show seems to be the hot ticket right now, I am thinking something like American Idol, maybe call it American Patriot or something...Have viewers submit Youtube videos much like C-Span just did in Pa.? Have a contest on the issues maybe or the candidates? Real Folks explaining why they support a certain candidate...

I think it needs to be a little more controversial. Maybe a running investivative news type of show that covers the stories the major networks are not and never will cover unless they see an audience shift.
