I was reading some of the recent CFR articles and have decided to start writing them more often. I assume that most of the younger editors there do in fact care about humanity and are pretty decent people. This lady Stephanie Hanson recently wrote a article on US policy in South America. I was irritated at how easily they just smooth over the fact that we are wasting billions of dollars there and have been dropping poison on farmers crops, which drives peasants towards the "communists" rebel groups that the US then claims we must urgently fight to protect "free-markets". When in reality the rural farmers just want to be able to grow crops on their land without being firebombed or killed by goverment drug warriors. It is also sickenign to me that these people can pretend the CIA doesn't traffic drugs! and that it is soo critical that we continue to "fight the war on drugs".
