My suggestion

From what reading I have done it seems you want people to pledge to switch to a cable provider who offers your channel. Since I work for a sat TV provider in the USA I can say this is not going to motivate very many people to switch providers. Those that do will probably find themselves paying penalty fees for switching because their under some kind of programming commitment.

The correct way to get a channel added to the programming lineup is to call your provider and ask that the person your speaking to submit a request for the channel. That request would be reviewed by the company and then if the company has enough requests and feels its a good business decision they would work on trying to negotiate a contract with the channel provider.

So get the pledges to pick up the phone and ask for the channel. The more calls about it the better.

Thanks,
