While Lou Dobbs has come out publicly against any movement towards a North American Union, he certainly does not support other mission critical principles of The Ron Paul Revolution or the Freedom Movement in general. Specifically, in responding to the financial crisis that is now recognizable in its early stages, Dobbs has advocated for government bailouts for borrowers who cannot pay their mortgages as well as more regulation on business as his two solutions. While he condemns corporate welfare, he advocates populist welfare, which is just as immoral and ultimately more damaging. Unfortunately, he is one of many "mavericks" that rails against establishment socialism, but suggests "my socialism is better." (see John McCain). Don't allow yourself to confuse him as a spokesman for liberty just because he is right on one issue. At heart, he is not pro-freedom.
