We could all drink a little more from the well of knowledge the founders provided for us. Someone once said "I am rather tired of hearing about our rights and privileges as American citizens. The time is come when we ought to hear about the duties and responsibilities of our citizenship."
It is out duty to accept and protect the constitution, but first we must know it. I am not familiar with this columnist but his Constitutional Devotional Plan is worth implementing.

Have you read up on "Your New Constitution"??? I couldn't believe it myself but here it is, see for yourself.

The North Americas Union must never come to be.
I know, its sad huh? This whole time the NAU, and the NWO have only been a theory to most, a source of constant ridicule for a few, until one sees it on paper in black and white. We really lost most of our rights when Bush signed away Habeas Corpus.-- http://www.commondreams.org/views06/0928-20.htm
Maybe there should be a law that requires Congress to read out loud sections of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence before starting a session.
There have been several attempts at passing the Enumerated Powers Act, which would require Congress to specify the source of authority under the United States Constitution for the enactment of laws, and for other purposes. You would think that people who take an oath to uphold the Constitution wouldn't have a problem with citing specific parts of the Constitution to prove they are fulfilling their oath throughout their jobs, but obviously our Congress knowingly and willingly breaks their oath and tramples on the Constitution all the time.
In the beginning of the Republic, every state and federal law printed the entire US Constitution on every law that was passed for the record. Maybe we should bring that back.
One of my favorite books is "Good To Be King: The Foundation of Our Constitutional Freedom" by my good friend, Michael Badnarik. Rather than the memorization of dates, times and places devoid of any connection to one another (as we were taught in government schools), Michael can fire up a passion for liberty even among fluoride-intoxicated citizens: http://www.constitutionpreservation.org/book.htm

I highly recommend the Politically Incorrect Guide to the Constitution.

Although it did leave me a little depressed about how soon after its creation the Constitution was being sidelined.
Good read, great Idea, though in the current state it seems that if you put all of our officials on this constitutional devotion plan, American Society might breakdown as we know it.......... wouldn't that be grand.
