Sometime, perhaps after 9:00 pm on May 14, a large number of registrations were entered on BTM. From all indications these are bogus registrations most likely entered by the same person. So far I found no indication that anyone else is aware of this happening, but no doubt others have detected it as well. The main give away of the bogus entries is the user name. Some of them look to be no more than random numbers or letters typed in, or other words not normally used for user names. My first impression is that anyone using "Fuck" for their user name (#4415) doesn't have the best interest of BTM in mind.
Hopefully, someone will take the time to ferret out the bogus user names and purge them. Most likely they all have the same email address. It may be required to set up some mechanism to prevent this from happening in the future.

Anyone who signs up for BTM and has a differing opinion I welcome. I think I'm well versed enough in what a true Ron Paul Conservative is and maybe when we get done with those of differing opinions, we'll give them something to think about!!!
If we're looking to change our government, it's probably gonna happen one person at a time!!!
it sounds like all of you are living in a shell and are afraid of the internet. didnt expect stuff like this to happen? have you heard of myspace? have you noticed all the drone accts signed on that site?
embrace it
What is this internet you speak of??

Something that I noticed as well, was the fact that they haven't filled out anything on their profile and the only thing on there is what they posted in the forum section. It might be worth checking on profiles before anyone at BTM wastes time trying to debate with a ghost. LMW
I was wondering if the "Ron Paul Has Blood On His Hands" thread was created by a troll. We seem to have been infiltrated.
Uhhh, aren't we, here at BTM, trying to break minds free of MSM rhetoric? Aren't we trying to create an environment that invokes free speech and the liberties promoted by a much needed revolution? You talk about us being "infiltrated" as though we are some sort of secret society like the Stone Cutters or something (No, I do not have the "Chosen One" tattoo - ala Homer Simpson).
Who cares if a "troll" happens on here. If you truly believe in the message of freedom and liberty, then your answers reflect that belief. Either answer "troll" posts on the merit of your trust in the Revolution, or just move on. Either way, I say invite him to post more. It gives us a chance to speak out against the brainwash more and more...
As far as fake accounts are concerned... who cares? Sure it doesn't make the numbers look good when you consider real vs. fake accounts -- but who cares?
If a "troll" wants to "infiltrate" our message, so what? He's spewing propaganda that is easily disputed with truth, so let him "infiltrate" and continue to be debunked... He's doing us a favor (because he's not feeding the MSM fodder and lemming nation with this stuff if he's posting it here right?).
To you "trolls" I say, keep it coming.
are you familiar with the concept of infestation and its effects?
that's so completely against RP is only meant to incite some commotion. if you check out the author's profile you'll see that that's the first, and only contribution he made here. no doubt it must have been amusing for him. this kind of thing is inevitable.
always remember to vote after you read a comment/post. enough people vote and the problem will be taken care of.
I logged in to check things and noticed that there were 150 plus members online and the majority of them had usernames like dkgjdhsgjh. It was pretty obvious that someone had a little too much time on their hands.
Last night I invited approximately 700 people (or more) to join the site. As I told Shelly and Trevor I do not expect that all of them will actually contribute and I expect that some of them might be immature (and I've been proven right) however it's a *wonderful* thing that the site gets the exposure. Exposure at this point is extremely important.
Does it matter if they dont contribut well.. no not really but it would be nice if they did. The accounts were not created to be 'bogus' accounts they were created by individuals. No one sat there and created those accounts all for the glory of having more accounts.
I'm sure that over time these non contributors will get removed but let's all just embrace the newcomers no matter what they've chosen for a username because there's not a whole lot that matters in a 'username'.

The most important point!
Very well put Ryan. :]
