I had a friend send this to me today who was kind of worried about this possible project. It has the same sort of style as other "Money Bomb" related sites. However, I fear that this is either a set-up, or that there is a true movement to do this with the banks. Here is the link:

http://thisjune5th.com/

I feel that there does need to be fundamental change to our monetary system, but causing a bank panic right now is NOT the appropriate thing to do as of this point. If we were to create a panic (which with which the 7-10% if American's who support Ron Paul) The wheels of the Revolution would be halted. All this would do is cause more inflation (As the Fed's may have to print off even more fiat currency), and continue to deteriorate the country. We need to be working to improve the country. Yes, things get worse before they get better, but I would also like to make sure that my college tuition costs don't start rising by 50% instead of the 9% for this year. Let's fix it when we straighten out congress, not by trying to cause problems to the American's who already think we're radical.

Replying to own Topic

Its not often that I reply to my own topic. I also don't usually reply to safe face, this isn't for either of those.

Right now as I post, I show a rating of '-3' I see three comments, and I have previously see the number go up.

I ask that if you disagree with me, don't shoot down the topic without showing some reason WHY you disagree with it. I am an open minded person. It is possible that you could change my mind. I promote an open floor, but please don't give a negative rating without supporting it. All that it shows is that your scared NOT to show what your true thoughts are.

I am a full supporter of the revolution, however, I feel that June 5th will cause MANY more problems then help. I don't want to see a "New Deal" to push us closer to the socialistic/communistic line. I want to see fundamental changes by beating those who created the system against them. Lets not do it with something that is the eternal backbone of the country and the world, our money. We can do this after we get America heading into the right track.

As for cash, I would love to use it more, but I've had too many instances of people stealing it from me. Which is the only reason why I choose to use a card as I can dispute any charge I don't actually make.

Agreed

Though most of us would like to see a timely end to the Federal Reserve, it is necessary that we still have the ability to allow citizens to trade freely. This is the reasoning for using a secondary currency. If a second currency, backed by commodity, is allowed to begin circulating and acceptable for payment on contracts, the demise of the Federal Reserve would be much easier to handle.

Currently, if a crash is created, all we end up with is a mound of worthless green paper (not to say that it currently has much worth). Though change rarely is the easy road, I would hate to see what type of travesty would occur if this were to happen. I believe it may play directly into the hands of those that wish to see the NAU and Amero come into existence and it would do little to solve our problems.

Liberty Dollar

http://www.libertydollar.org/ld/ronpauldollar

There's even issued $1 Copper, $20 Silver, and $1000 Gold coins donning the good Dr.'s face (the second link).

The liberty Dollar has been in existence, use, and circulation for many years and is a good start to understanding the effectiveness of the Bi-Metallic standards of currency that needs to exists to ween people off of the Federal Reserve's proverbial teet... and is an excellent solution start to finding solutions to our fiscal problems.

Yeah, let's do anarchy!!!

The U.S. Congress has the duty -- and is the only entity given the power -- to coin America's currency and regulate its value. That's been the Law of the Land for 219 years.

I have nothing against private coin-makers and collectibles, but 'secondary currency' is not an option to monetary discipline, according to the US Constitution. We will never stop Congress from violating the Law of the Land, by violating it ourselves. Anarchy is no answer to tyranny, but enforcing the Law of the Land, IS an answer.

This is one of several issues on which Ron Paul has shown great insight but insufficient specificity in his reform proposals. Fiscal and monetary discipline will be restored (as has not been seen for 175 years) only when you FORCE your own member of Congress to stop violating law and to coin sound, bimetallic-backed currency.

I explain how we can do this lawfully, peacefully, and patriotically through the America Again! project. http://www.america-again.blogspot.com

I've been doing this for awhile now

HEHE I don't have any money in a bank account anyway because I deal 100% in cash. Its annoying as hell seeing as the government is now trying to make AMERICAN CURRENCY illegal and you can only use checks or credit cards these days without someone thinking you're a terrorist or a drug dealer. Its quite a shame.

(I don't make a whole lot of money though)

US court: Paper money discriminates against blind

WASHINGTON (AP) — A federal appeals court says paper money discriminates against blind people.
The U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit has upheld a ruling that could force the U.S. to redesign its money so blind people can distinguish between values.
Such changes could include making bills different sizes, including raised markings or printing oversized numbers for people who see poorly.
The appeals court ruled 2-1 on Tuesday that the U.S. didn't explain why such changes would be an unreasonable burden, especially since many other countries have done so.

As long as it's bimetallic-backed, sound money

I'd see no problem with having different-sized bills. What is your objection to that?

I don't like the idea of embedded electronic strips, but the larger Federal Reserve counterfeit money denominations already have those strips. I say we focus on the real problems and stay off the bunny trails.

It doesn't matter what size, shape, or color the funny money is, as long as it remains funny money. Until we force Congress (under penalty of long jail sentences and losing all they own) to outlaw that counterfeiting operation at the Federal Reserve and resume their duty to coin American currency and back it with gold and silver, all this other currency-talk is moot.

Sophisticate Your Suspicion

RFID chips in money are a bad idea, whatever the backing for the currency.

Cash will be traceable from the ATM to the the point of purchase by the feds. It is analogous to scanning the serial number every time a dollar is put into a cash drawer. The obvious future use for such a technology is not to help blind people but to institute a national sales tax by tracing cash to individuals and their 'Fair Tax Accounts' or tagging certain bills as from 'tainted' sources. (And you thought they'd simply stop at calling paper money? They want to impose terms of use and fees for the privilege. After all, we're benefiting from the taxpayer funded socialist central banking quasi-public Federal Reserve and her deposit insurance minions. Forget 'taxpayer' get used to 'cash user'.)

Look into what the future will hold when there are chips in everything.

I grant your point

and it's a valid one. There's quite a difference between the current magnetic strip and a full-blown RFID chip.

Please see the America Again! Declaration at

http://www.america-again.blogspot.com

and note that this is one of the demands you would make of your US congressman; (s)he will either stop violating the law and our liberties, or your local group would pursue a nice long stint in the State Penitentiary, and confiscation of all his/her wealth.

The America Again! project would be an ongoing self-governance vehicle; the list of your US senator's or US representative's violations of law would be updated regularly. Your local group would seek an amendment to your State Constitution (in any state where necessary) to restore the Constitutional form of 'Homeland Security': the citizens' militia operating under the oversight of the State legislature, but NOT affiliated with, or answerable to, any federal authority.

This is the balance of powers that must first be restored if we are ever to break the corruption in any one of the three branches of federal government, much less break the corruption in all three so that they will actually balance one another's powers, as the founders intended.

Cut out the Fed, and restore honest money under threat of prison for the corrupt congressman. If enough of us do this, what chance do you think Congress has, of passing those laws you're warning about?

If you think the America Again! project has weaknesses, please point them out.

Thanks.

Sure...America Again!

Sorry; I haven't discovered how to manipulate text colors with HTML code.

I'm doing 'brand building'; picture the American Airlines logo (same typeface and red-and-blue colors) with the exclamation point, to convey the excitement of taking our country back.

A grassroots self-governance project designed to reach coast to coast, can gain a great deal of cachet in the marketplace of ideas and images by building on something that most people see all the time.

Leading the Blind...

Update from NYTIMES! Of particular note is the "Add Sound to Each Bill." EEEK!

Imagine if by walking through a doorway, the amount of cash you had on you could be determined?

On the other hand, there'll be a HUGE market for emf-shielded wallets!

The only possible next 'New

The only possible next 'New Deal' would be outright slavery (not that its not so currently). After the next collapse, I could see the government implementing mandatory labor, mandating all trade trade policies, setting curfews, and completely regulating the entire food distribution network.

After the next crash is when Orwell's prophecy comes into full effect!

I am just absolutely convinced that the best formula for giving us peace and preserving the American way of life is freedom, limited government, and minding our own business overseas. - Ron Paul

Listen guys

Remember the great depression? We got the New Deal, which pretty much took an ice pick too american individualism and forever shaped our nation into the welfare state. If we have another great depression what makes you think we won't get another new deal???
