There are several different scenarios that could lead to Ron having no other choice but to enter the race as an independent. One factor that could play a role in this is of course ‘The Revolution’. Most people in this country are still mostly reliant on old forms of media when it comes to making political decisions. If Obama starts to become seen as a Marxist and the older people in this country (like my Dad) start to get the real scoop on Ron Paul and begin seeing through McCain then we could see an about-face with people begging for Paul to run as an independent. I can tell you that I heard my Dad say (for the first time in my life) that he wasn’t going to vote (because of his dislike for the candidates), but now he’s starting to find out that Obama is possibly a serious Marxist and I can promise you that he will vote against anyone that he thinks is a Marxist. That said, his world consists of old media and he hasn’t really been able to explore Ron Paul like we have.

THE IDEA: If someone could organize a cross-country radio broadcast of ‘The Revolution’ (it’s available in audio format) that could be a huge deal. We would have to buy airtime at local stations and have them play the CDs probably over several days (1 hour per day). I don’t know a whole lot about radio but I actually think this is more affordable then you might first think that it is, especially if the campaign could use their own dollars. Anyhow, if you ponder this thought for a while the same light will go off in your head that went off in mine. When it does you’ll need to sit down and let it sink in.  I think Ron Paul knew exactly what he was doing when he released this book at this particular time.

A man like Paul can't simply

A man like Paul can't simply flip flop. He has to give reasons for his actions. The Manifesto will do that for him if he decides to go independent. He is very serious about the issues confronting this country. A Presidential candidate doesn't just write a book titled 'The Revolution' in the middle of an election without some serious thought behind it!

Exactly.....America

Exactly.....America could
0Exactly.....America could very easily turn against McCain and Obama. They are NOT strong candidates and Paul's best seller is well a BEST SELLER! That means people are starting to look around. Despite what the internet age group thinks most of the voters are not getting their info from the web so it takes longer for them to wake-up. But that said the web has increased the overall flow of information that one or two months today can change things on an order that just 5 years ago would have taken 12-18 months. By July we could see chaos and we need to be prepared for that now! I think Ron Paul is already ahead of us on this. I think 'The Revolution' had more of a strategic purpose than we realize. What better way to put out a feeler for the possibility of an independent run than to write a short concise MANIFESTO. Look up the term!

Radio stations play what

Radio stations play what people want to hear not what the main stream media likes. Paul has a best seller...i.e. That's grounds for the possibility that a broadcast might be very popular as well and bring in ad dollars for stations who pick it up.

Muscians don't rely on main

Muscians don't rely on main stream media they rely on the power of massed produced recorded material. Why shouldn't an intellectual like Paul be able to use the same model.

The point about Paul getting

The point about Paul getting elected has nothing to do with the current enviroment. It's about what the environment might be in a couple of months. Yeah, McCain and Obama might have it locked in but they also may be very disliked. Luck favors the prepared mind. If you want to take advantage of future opportunity you need to prepare now. If no opportunity arises then all we've done is spread the message which of course is a worthy cause, but if the door opens then that's a different story. Despite hollywood romantics opportunities don't just land in your lap. Look at any successful person and you'll see that in one way or the other they had prepared even when the odds were stacked against them. It may flood, it may drought, or conditions might be perfect but if you haven't planted the seeds and continued to do all of the follow up work then you won't have a crop no matter what happens.

Being that this is a #1 best

Being that this is a #1 best seller some stations might play the book just like they would any other line-up. In many areas it would get more listeners than a typical music or interview segment.

Email something like this to your local station (or other non-local station);

Dear....,

I think you should consider playing Ron Paul's new #1 NYT best seller 'The Revolution' as part of a multi-day series (1 hour per day with ads every 15 minutes). I think you'd get more listeners than with a typical music line up.

I mostly agree with the idea

I mostly agree with the idea of the Radio Broadcast. Again the problem lies in the reality of the message against us, which is: "Why Vote Ron Paul, He Doesn't Have a Chance" which in many ways has been the problem from the start. I have never known a sheeple that knew who Dr. Paul was and didn't already think he was either: 1. already out of the race 2. unelectable (whatever that word means) 3. dead 4. Some YouTube/Google superstar that must make videos or something or 5. an amateur sign maker. I think at this point the message has to be the revolution, not the presidency. I am hoping to promote the message by buying the Revolution and a pocket copy of the Constitution in bulk and just giving them to people I meet. Saying "look, this is our country at stake, and I kind of need your help". If it was an audio book alls the better but those are twice the price. So far the idea has worked well (about 10 books out) because not only am I giving them something they don't know they need (the revolution) I am giving them something they already know they need (the constitution), this is especially true of any civil servant or soldier. You should find out what the licensing cost is for broadcasting the audio book and start doing that radio broadcast. good luck to ya.

I don't think so. People

I don't think so. People have heard the message, but it's impossible to get it in their heads like the mainstream media does with the other candidates. This is what BTM is all about; taking down the biased mainstream media - but it's not going to happen overnight. And the odds of Ron Paul becoming president are slim because of this.
