STOP the Great Lakes Water Resource Compact!!!
Posted by Tumbleweed Steve on Thu, 05/08/2008 - 10:03 in We need some of the GOOD PATRIOTS in the states of
Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York, Indiana, Michigan, Illinois,
Minnisota, and Wisconsin, to get involved and help out
in defeating the Great Lakes Water Conservation Compact.
Know what that is???
I will give you a hint.
It's an UN-constitutional takeover of your private property rights.
Interested???
To "control" ALL water in the great lakes "BASIN".
Now are you interested???
How about going to http://usconstitution.meetup.com/26/
to find out more about it before it's too late?
Just go to the message board and start at the bottom and
work your way up. Loads of information available there.
Sign up and join the group while you are there. Stay informed.
I started this MeetUp group to deal with JUST the Great Lakes
Compact, so-as to keep it simple.
What is the Great Lakes Water Compact?

Now have a good look at United Nations Agenda 21 chapter 18 please.
http://www.un.org/esa/sustdev/documents/agenda21/english/agenda21chapter...
If you care about our constitution.
If you want to save our liberty.
This is a good place to start.
To me, this issue is as important as the REAL ID act.
Water!
We can't live without it.
Now they want to control our water.
The media spin on this issue is nothing but lies.
It's up to us my fellow Americans.
We are on the front lines here.
Get informed...get involved!

Unfortunately this has already been passed into full law in my home state. It is clearly unconstitutional, yet these bodies of water stradle two supposedly sovereign nations. These bodies are extra-national, so the fact that this agreement is unconstitutional does not apply here. There is no dividing line floating on the surface of these lakes. This is a difficult connundrum.
I do not trust the United Nations at all. Presumably, despite the noble claims of this bill (preservation of an amazing natural resource), it's actually about the UN ultimately taking control of this essential commercial waterway.
