Its going to take lots and lots of work, first we all have to know the real truth of the governing, and how corrupt the system is, every bit of it.
If the majority of the American people knew what happend on 911, what REALLY took place, their would be an instant uprising and destruction of the powers that have held them for so long.

Former US Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney, along with former US Diplomat and Colonel in the US Army reserve Ann Wright have put their names to an open letter warning that massive evidence points to an upcoming event.
Current Congressional candidates Cindy Sheehan and Craig Hill are also among the signatories to the letter.

To the American people, and to peace loving individuals everywhere:
Massive evidence has come to our attention which shows that the backers, controllers, and allies of Vice President Dick Cheney are determined to orchestrate and manufacture a new 9/11 terror incident, and/or a new Gulf of Tonkin war provocation over the coming weeks and months. Such events would be used by the Bush administration as a pretext for launching an aggressive war against Iran, quite possibly with nuclear weapons, and for imposing a regime of martial law here in the United States. We call on the House of Representatives to proceed immediately to the impeachment of Cheney, as an urgent measure for avoiding a wider and more catastrophic war. Once impeachment has begun, it will be easier for loyal and patriotic military officers to refuse illegal orders coming from the Cheney faction. The letter was signed by the group at an anti war protest this weekend which saw four thousand march near the Bush family residence on Walker's Point in Kennebunkport.

Sorry, but it appears that there have been many different versions of this proposal, and because of this, Congress will not give it the time of day. Man, you had my hopes up for a minute there!
Back on topic. Whether you believe 9/11 was a government conspiracy, an act carried out by the Mossad, or that 19 hijackers took four of our commercial airliners and crashed them into three buildings a nd a field in PA, one thing is for certain. I think all are in agreement that a new, unbiased, third-party investigation into the events of that dreadful day are needed. BTW, I am of the opinion that our govt is complicit in this horrible crime, along with certain key members of the corporate elite. Everything I have read and seen in the past seven years has led me to this conclusion. I am also a member of the JBS. There are many in this organization who believe in the conspiracy. This is something that is going to take time to reach the masses. But our numbers are growing daily. We must press on, and never forget, never let the truth be buried forever. Keep up the good work Truthers!
As for Ron Paul, he is entitled to his opinion. I am also a rabid Ron Paul supporter, but I feel he may have his own reasons for wanting a new investigation, plus, it would have been political suicide for him to give credence to such conspiracy theories, whether they are true or not. We need him in office. I m willing to go along with his "plausible denial" at this point.
My simple explanation of a conspiracy-
1. Two or more people are involved.
2. They meet in secret.
3. They plan to do harm to others to further their own agenda.

I always thought it was also people in the UN and many in US govenment were surprised. I also think the freedom fighters were useful idiots? I think it was an international thing. I try to remember all the players and the time line. I remember one caller from the plane calling his mother and giving his full name, do you call your mother and leave a message like, Hi mom, it's John Doe Smith, my plane has been hijacked. I think not. Don't forget the Pentagon, that was not a plane. It is very sad that this message can kill the messengers credibility on all other beliefs.

I think Jesse Ventura's approach is the best to use: "I have very serious questions, and this is why... " And of course Ron Paul needs all the support possible. His association with 911 has been distant, only supporting a new investigation, but not one that'll become another govt. coverup. That's succinct enough for me.

I knew that we were all being had the moment someone told me that both towers had COMPLTELY collapsed after being struck by one airliner each. I knew this was physically impossible. This site hosts 100s of architects & engineers who show, through proven laws & theories of Newtonian physics and architectural science, that the “official” explanation for the collapse of World Trade Center buildings 1,2 &7 is unsupportable.
The 911 commission was staffed by politicians close to the Bush administration. Who would know more about this, politicians or physicists? The World Trade Center buildings were brought down by controlled demolition. There are accounts from workers in the basement of the towers on the morning of 911 who swear that there were massive explosions in the basements of these buildings immediately prior to the impact of the planes. I myself have seen a photograph on the internet of flames widely spread across two consecutive floors of building 2 many floors beneath the impact point of the airliner. This freeze frame shows the incoming airliner just meters away from the moment of impact yet flames are already raging many floors below!
There are things that happened in the next several days in the media that I have never heard anyone else discuss, so I will be the first. Why did no one question the fact that in less than 48 hours the names & images of these supposed hijackers was determined beyond a shadow of a doubt? Was there extensive DNA testing done on artifacts recovered from ground zero? Were the findings of this DNA testing compared against a databank of DNA from known Islamic terrorists? No! There was absolutely NO forensic testing done on any evidence whatsoever! I read an editorial in a magazine for one of the fire fighters unions in NYC. The Author of the column was a NYC police arson investigator. He was livid that he & his team were not allowed to investigate the crime scene. Where did this list of hijackers come from? It was provided by Israeli intelligence sources. Have any of you seen the clip where an Israeli official is interviewed regarding his reaction to the catastrophe? The very first words out of his mouth were “It’s good!” He then catches himself & explains that it is good because now Americans understand what Israeli citizens have been living through for their entire history as a nation. How many of you are familiar with the “Dancing Israelis” arrested on 911? They were on the NJ side of the Hudson river highfiving each other, celebrating & taking pictures of themselves with the burning towers as the backdrop of their photos. The NYPD took them in & found out that they were undercover Mossad agents (Israeli Secret Service) posing as movers. All very suspicious coincidences if you ask me.
I saw that earlier in this thread someone had questions regarding the cell phone calls made by passengers of flight 93. I was watching the Today show either the next morning (9/12) or the morning after (9/13) and all of the people who were called by their loved ones on flight 93 were being interviewed as a group. They were all seated together in the same room. Each recounted details of their phone call. One was peculiar because she said that her husband identified himself to her stating both his first & LAST name. I don’t know about you but I don’t think that if it was me in an airplane nose-diving from the sky that I would feel the need to identify myself to my wife with my LAST name. This however was not the most startling testimony I witnessed from this group. Another woman, a young woman with longish, straight hair was the strangest of all. While all of the other wives were choking back tears, this women recounted her phone call with a very strange expression on her face. Rather than crying or sobbing this woman was looking right into the camera with “cat that ate the canary” expression. She was not sad. She looked triumphant and condescending. She looked as if she had just vanquished a foe and had just spit in his face as he lay dying in his last conscious moments of life. She looked absolutely intimidating! She was not saying something like “My man showed them terrorists a thing or 2!” She was simply recounting receiving the call. She seemed like an actress who had misunderstood the directors instruction. Or maybe she was just showing contempt to all of the fools she was telling a bold faced lie to. It was truly haunting! The gleam in her eyes, the look of a tiger about to pounce upon you & tear oput your throat, yet laughing at her prey at the same time. I’ll never forget it. Spooky! Another spooky media moment happened late one night less than 5 days after 911. A reporter was covering a high level meeting of American politicians, when the doors opened and these politicians began to exit the hall. She stopped Dick Gephardt and began to ask him questions detailing the emergency meeting. This interview was being filmed from an angular point of view. Mr. Gephardt & the reporter were not looking directly into the camera. Then suddenly Dick Gephardt turned and looked directly into the camera and said, “The American people must understand that NOTHING WILL EVER BE THE SAME AGAIN IN THIS CONTRY. THE AMERICA YOU’VE ALWAYS KNOWN IS GONE FOREVER.” Talk about an Orwellian moment!!!!! Do any of you remember how we were told by the television media over & over & over that things would never be the same again in this country? I do. I remember it well.

How can you all claim that Ron Paul attached this 9/11 conspiracy theory to himself? Have you not read "A Foreign Policy of Freedom", or any of his speeches on foreign policy? He says that our foreign policy causes 9/11, he never indicates that our government was behind it.
I was being criticized about 911(ohh god forbid), as how this was stigmatizing this 'little' movement here at BTM. I merely mean that it is not I who is attaching 911 to Ron Paul, it is Ron Paul that is attaching 911 to himself by publicly stating that he supports another investigation, not I that is attaching the subject to him...

On this note has anyone seen the History Channels (HC) "answer" to 9/11 truthers? It's a bit of a laughfest except I'm sure the general public that watch the HC more than likely buy it hook-line-and-sinker.
While I suspect that Bush/Cheney knew this was coming and like FDR refused to stop it so we could get involved with Iraq, I do have some issues with the whole story of the truthers.

There are so many things verifiably wrong with our government, starting with the trampling of Constitutional limits on federal power and all that entails, why attach what are considered "crackpot" conspiracy theories to the man and give people reason to dismiss his political platform because of what they think is his view on 9/11. It's like the smear campaign that was run by beltway libertarians who were so offended by the newsletter articles 20 years old that had some controversial statements regarding race and crime statistics - but in this case the people who support him are actually helping to smear him in the eyes of most people who might otherwise hear his message.
Look at it this way. Let's assume there is some group inside government that devised and executed the 9/11 attacks (claims without proof are worthless, but let's just assume it for the sake of argument). How does that change the bloated federal budget, the inflationary fiscal policy, the bankruptcy of Social Security on the near horizon, the empire-like military machine with bases in almost every country on Earth, federal usurpation of states rights, regulation of more and more private concerns - the list is endless. And while you can get many people to see how government has grown far beyond what it is justified to do, and only getting worse, if you package that with the incistent claim that "government did 9/11" you are shooting yourself in the foot. Because without evidence - solid verifiable evidence - you won't get 1% of the population to go along.
Of course this is just my opinion. But we are definitely in the minority - why push agendas not directly related to regaining freedom in the political realm and which just put us even further in the minority?

The 2 links below show without a doubt that the only person who has attached themselves to a reinvestigation into 911, is Ron Paul himself. You either need to write him, or find yourself another candidate who will pander to your expectations, and what you want to hear.... That has nothing to do with the subject, since my statements about Ron Paul only spoke of him wanting another investigation, as would I, regardless of what specific reasons of why I would. But I will give you a hint, and it comes from the same article as well..

I have questions, just like Ron Paul, and there are many questions.
There are many other subjects that are more important the 911, one of those being what is fixing to take place. However if people can realize some key elements about 911 then what is coming would not due to the American people seeing the sheeps in wolves clothing..
What is different though really, the same happened in Germany, the people did not know....

So what is a Conspiracy, that term is used very loosely today...
Conspiracy:
1. An agreement to perform together an illegal, wrongful, or subversive act.
2. A group of conspirators.
3. Law An agreement between two or more persons to commit a crime or accomplish a legal purpose through illegal action.
In order for these few points to happen all three definitions would be present.
There is also a conspiracy of silence today pertaining to any of these subjects. - a conspiracy not to talk about some situation or event; "there was a conspiracy of silence about police brutality"
Let us now see what our own Government defines a Conspiracy, and pay close attention if 911 would fall into that category:
CONSPIRACY - 18 U.S.C. 371 makes it a separate Federal crime or offense for anyone to conspire or agree with someone else to do something which, if actually carried out, would amount to another Federal crime or offense. So, under this law, a 'conspiracy' is an agreement or a kind of 'partnership' in criminal purposes in which each member becomes the agent or partner of every other member.
In order to establish a conspiracy offense it is not necessary for the Government to prove that all of the people named in the indictment were members of the scheme; or that those who were members had entered into any formal type of agreement; or that the members had planned together all of the details of the scheme or the 'overt acts' that the indictment charges would be carried out in an effort to commit the intended crime.
Also, because the essence of a conspiracy offense is the making of the agreement itself (followed by the commission of any overt act), it is not necessary for the Government to prove that the conspirators actually succeeded in accomplishing their unlawful plan.
What the evidence in the case must show beyond a reasonable doubt is:
First: That two or more persons, in some way or manner, came to a mutual understanding to try to accomplish a common and unlawful plan, as charged in the indictment;
Second: That the person willfully became a member of such conspiracy;
Third: That one of the conspirators during the existence of the conspiracy knowingly committed at least one of the methods (or 'overt acts') described in the indictment; and
Fourth: That such 'overt act' was knowingly committed at or about the time alleged in an effort to carry out or accomplish some object of the conspiracy.
An 'overt act' is any transaction or event, even one which may be entirely innocent when considered alone, but which is knowingly committed by a conspirator in an effort to accomplish some object of the conspiracy.
A person may become a member of a conspiracy without knowing all of the details of the unlawful scheme, and without knowing who all of the other members are. So, if a person has an understanding of the unlawful nature of a plan and knowingly and willfully joins in that plan on one occasion, that is sufficient to convict him for conspiracy even though he did not participate before, and even though he played only a minor part.
Of course, mere presence at the scene of a transaction or event, or the mere fact that certain persons may have associated with each other, and may have assembled together and discussed common aims and interests, does not necessarily establish proof of a conspiracy. Also, a person who has no knowledge of a conspiracy, but who happens to act in a way which advances some purpose of one, does not thereby become a conspirator.
A combination or agreement of two or more persons to join together to attempt to accomplish some unlawful purpose. It is a kind of 'partnership in criminal purposes,' and willful participation in such a scheme or agreement, followed by the commission of an overt act by one of the conspirators is sufficient to complete the offense of 'conspiracy' itself even though the ultimate criminal object of the conspiracy is not accomplished or carried out. To establish the offense of 'conspiracy' the Government must prove:

An agreement between two or more persons to do an unlawful act or an act which may become by the combination injurious to others. Formerly this offence was much more circumscribed in its meaning than it is now. Lord Coke describes it as 'a consultation or agreement between two or more to appeal or indict an innocent person falsely and maliciously, whom accordingly they cause to be indicted or appealed and afterwards the party is acquitted by the verdict of twelve men.'
The crime of conspiracy, according to its modern interpretation, may be of two kinds, Damely, conspiracies against the public, or such as endanger the public health, violate public morals, insult public justice, destroy the public peace, or affect public trade or business.
To remedy these evils the guilty persons may be indicted in the name of the commonwealth. Conspiracies against individuals are such as have a tendency to injure them in their persons, reputation, or property. The remedy in these cases is either by indictment or by a civil action.
In order to render the offence complete, there is no occasion that any act should be done in pursuance of the unlawful agreement entered into between the parties, or that any one should have been defrauded or injured by it. The conspiracy is the gist of the crane.
By the former laws of the United States, a willful and corrupt conspiracy to cast away, burn or otherwise destroy any ship or vessel with intent to injure any underwriter thereon, or the goods on board thereof, or any lender of money on such vessel, on bottomry or respondentia, is made felony, and the offender punishable by fine not exceeding ten thousand dollars and by imprisonment and confinement at hard labor not exceeding ten years.
By the old Revised Statutes of New York it is enacted that if any two or more persons shall conspire either: 1. To commit any offence, or; 2. Falsely and maliciously to indict another for any offence, or; 3. Falsely to move or maintain any suit, or; 4. To cheat and defraud any person of any property, by any means which are in themselves criminal, or; 5. To cheat and defraud any person of any property, by means which, if executed, would amount to a cheat, or to obtaining property by false pretences, or; 6. To commit any act injurious to the public health, to public morals, or to trade and commerce, or for the perversion or obstruction of justice, or the due administration of the laws; they shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor. No other conspiracies are there punishable criminally. And no agreement, except to commit a felony upon the person of another, or to commit arson or burglary, shall be deemed a conspiracy, unless some act besides such agreement be done to effect the object thereof, by one or more of the parties to such agreement.
When a felony has been committed in pursuance of a conspiracy, the latter, which is only a misdemeanor, is merged in the former; but when a misdemeanor only has been committed in pursuance of such conspiracy, the two crimes being of equal degree, there can be no legal technical merger.
