OK, so like many of you, I jumped the gun out of impatience and I purchased my copy of "The Revolution" before the official start of the book bomb... it was as if I felt like a day made a difference in my life, to knowing and understanding where this once great nation went wrong... as if that understanding would make a difference in the grand scheme of things, but I'm already a supporter so it's not like I needed a book to convince me I was making the right choice right?
I will be honest and say yes, I needed this book, but it wasn't to convince me that Ron Paul's ideals of a government were right. It wasn't to understand the brilliant mindset of our founding fathers as told through Ron Paul's words and wisdom. It wasn't like I needed to spend my hard earned money on the outrageously overpriced gas to make the trip to my local book store. So, why did I need this book?
To arm myself!
The answer became quite evident to me the moment I started in on the preface of the book and read into the passion and devotion expressed by Ron Paul:
"But this is a long-term project that will persist far into the future. These ideas cannot be allowed to die, buried beneath the mind-numbing chorus of empty slogans and inanities that constitute official political discourse in America."
It was at that very moment that the idea of a revolution really sunk in for me and I was holding a key ingredient to knwoing how to rally the message.
I have made the decision to purchase a second copy during the book bomb week so that I have my pristine copy for reading, and my "work" copy for annotating, highlighting, and building my repertoir against establishment and understanding of those who are still following the rest of the lemmings over the cliff. My book defines my role in our revolution.
I encourage everyone of you to do the same. Learn the message and understand that this revolution is more than just standing up against tyranny within our own borders. It is bigger than the office of the presidency, and it is mandated to happen by the words of our very own founding fathers - to take issue and a stand against the oppressive government that has, for years, used our Constitution as a napkin to wipe the saliva from the corners of the mouths of the power hungry.
When an Obama supporter claims we need change, agree with them that change is indeed needed, and use the principles of "The Revolution" to show them where real change is needed and can occur... then bask in your knowledge that even those who cry for change don't even know what this "change" Obama proposes is, or how it will impact our nation in a detrimental fashion.
When a McCain supporter claims that he is a true conservative with his best interest at heart, politely ask them how continuing to support an unconstitutional war while our gas and grocery prices soar, while unemployment soars, and while housing and financial markets plummet is really what is in his best interest - or the interest of any American for that matter.
When a Hillary supporter shouts praises of the history being made as the first woman president prepares to take her oath of office, try to understand their rational in believing this historical event is more important than all of the historical events surrounding her run that point to the decline of the greatest nation in the world into the ruins of a third-world nation.
And in all of this, do not denigrate the opinions of others. Instead use your tools to enlighten and inform. You should expect to be called a kook... afterall, our government is generations removed from practicing constitutionality, so of course, today's voters don't understand the thinking associated with following the laws of the land our forefathers declared. Our mainstream media outlets have told the American people what to believe, so they have blindly accepted that our government is doing the right thing, just in the wrong ways... when in fact, ourgovernment is doing it wrong. Share the words of our founding fathers (as peppered throughout your tool), and show people what the true intent was when we broke free from our oppressors, and help them to understand that 2008 is no different than 1776 -- excet our revolt is from within.
Stand strong, stand proud Ron Paul supporters for you have taken a bold new step in infancy toward declaring your liberties and freedoms once again and by the Grace and Mercy of God, you will be more than a footnote in the annals of history. You will be the anonymous partner identified in tomorrow's history books as one who fought valiantly for everything that is good and against all that is evil -- armed with arguably the greatest tool of your generation.
This is The Revolution!

I've got this tool in my toolbox! Which has inspired me to work on a suggestion post. But first, my son is up from his nap and he comes first. Thanks for this, another great post.
