Take a look at Chuck Baldwin as a presidential candidate. He is a huge Ron Paul supporter and has almost identical philosophies as Ron Paul. He is a member of the Constitution Party which may scare off some Libertarian's, but I believe if you would vote for Ron Paul, you would vote for Chuck Baldwin. All that I ask is that you take a look at him. http://www.chuckbaldwinlive.com

Holding out for Dr. Paul,

Holding out for Dr. Paul, but I've voted Constitutional Party the last two Presidential Elections.

I am still hoping that Ron

I am still hoping that Ron Paul and the supporters can pull a rabbit out of the hat in September but it would take a miracle to overcome such a stacked deck. Of course Ron Paul will have my vote in our May primaries but if McCain hangs onto the stolen nomination, Chuck Baldwin is a viable alternative. I am truly torn between voting for Baldwin and writing in Ron Paul. In the end, it will come down to where my vote will count toward sending the strongest message. Also considering dropping my 42 year registration as a Republican and going Independent. Perhaps if enough of us do that, the RNC will get a hint. The only hesitation there, of course, is Dr. Paul's desire to take back the party. He has no chance if we all drop out of it. Decisions, decisions...

The Constitution Party

The Constitution Party really is the best choice IMHO for citizens who want to constrain the federal government by the bounds of the constitution. While the Libertarian Party would also seem to be a viable choice, it seems to me it ignores a critical founding principle upon which the constitution was based and does not emphasize the need for a moral citizenry. I admit that I might be wrong here but when speaking with my libertarian friends I get the idea that they believe that man is generally good and if left alone by government constraints, will get along well with one another and all will be well. The biblical world view upon which the founding fathers based the writing of the constitution believes that man is generally bad (has a sinful nature) and needs to have a good moral foundation in order to get along well, but still without external government constraints for the most part. The constitution party emphasizes the need for a moral citizenry (http://www.constitutionparty.com/party_platform.php). Chuck Baldwin will be an excellent president absent the possibility of Ron Paul being elected. I sure wish Dr. Paul would reconsider not running third party and sign on with the Constitution Party with Chuck Baldwin as VP!

Yes, I am! I would love Ron

Yes, I am! I would love Ron Paul to win the nomination, of course, but it looks like the GOP is going to nominate McCain who I absolutely cannot support in any way. We (hubby and I) are very excited about Chuck Baldwin and feel that we have a "real" American patriot, one who believes in the Constitution as it was written in this man. We have someone we can vote for and be proud about it. I haven't been happy with an election for years...I am tired of having the lesser of two evils to vote for! That is why I voted for Ron Paul in the California primary and why I will vote for Chuck Baldwin in November.
