Our Very Unique Mission and Purpose at www.BreakTheMatrix.com
This web location at www.BreakTheMatrix.com has an entirely unique mission and purpose. Nothing else compares. We are not here to merely present the news; or debate the issues; or exchange pleasantries with one another about the events of the day. We at BreakTheMatrix have something far more significant in mind. Here's what it is:
We intend to bring FUNDAMENTAL CHANGE to America. Fundamental change in our mainstream media. Fundamental change in our failing government. Fundamental change in our collapsing and corrupt Federal Reserve banking system. Fundamental change in our immoral and illegal foreign policy. Fundamental change in the values and philosophies of our leaders. FUNDAMENTAL CHANGE-- in the core business of our nation.
There is no need in our mission for violence, or guns, or threats. Nor is there any need to speak of overthrowing the government. We at BreakTheMatrix are working within the system; and we will follow our nation's laws as they exist now or in the future. We are patriots-- but we are patriots with a purpose, and that purpose is to bring FUNDAMENTAL CHANGE. How, you might ask. How can such a seemingly massive task be accomplished? Here are the steps.
FIRST: We BUILD COMMUNITY. Our adversaries, we know, seek to keep us isolated, and separated, and apart. This is how they maintain their control. This is how they keep us weak, and dependent, and at heel. Our adversaries have learned the great lesson-- THAT COMMUNITY IS POWER. Our adversaries have community; and so must we. This is the first objective of BreakTheMatrix-- to bring freedom people together. To empower freedom people to act in unison. To enable freedom people to bring about fundamental change. Nothing can be achieved until we BUILD COMMUNITY-- but everything is possible once this first step is accomplished.
SECOND: We SPREAD THE MESSAGE. Our message of optimism, hope, freedom and prosperity is the essence of who we are, and what we stand for. All of our power comes from the force and conviction of our great ideas, our sound philosophy, and our good values. We are the ones who recognize what's gone wrong in America, and what needs to be done about it. Our adversaries are on the wrong side, and ladies and gentlemen, our adversaries are weak. Their ideas are tired, and old, and empty of substance. Our adversaries have nothing to offer but decline, and failure, and bankruptcy, and debt. We are the strong, and our message is the message of the future. All we need do is capture that future as our own.
THIRD: We ROOT OUT. We get rid of the bad people, the bad policies, and the bad values that have infested our nation's leadership group. The structure created by these people is collapsing of its own weight, and our task is to push that structure aside as it falls and replace it with a new structure built upon good people, and good policies, and good values. We know what such things are. We know the difference between good and bad, and we know that things have gone terribly bad in our country. Our leaders have wandered far astray, and it's time to take the country back. That is our mission and purpose at BreakTheMatrix. We will settle for nothing less.

Heh . . . I will comment later. Right now I'm very tired, tired of being lied to, tired of being frightened, tired of being tired.
lol Then get some sleep!
Ron Paul speaks very clearly about the need to remember what the real ideals of America are. The issue of sovereignty is the one that resonates with me the most. The American Revolution was about transferring sovereignty from the King or any Head of State to the individual. That is a major, fundamental, far reaching change in human history. The American ideal is that each person is sovereign and that the government serves the people (all individually sovereign) and no longer that the people serve the sovereign. For me the most important recognition that the reminder that Ron Paul represents is in this: Am I a subject or am I a sovereign? The significance of this question lies in learning to ask it. As I see it, what happened in 1913 is key to understanding the loss of individual sovereignty, the undoing of the American ideal and the emasculation of the Constitution. In 1913 the States lost their sovereignty with the direct election of Senators. Before 1913 the States were represented by their Senators who were elected by their respective legislatures. This was a fundamental aspect of the Repbulican as opposed to Democratic form of government. The States were represented in the Federal Government because the States elected their representatives to the Senate. Senators represented the States, but then, with the direct election of Senators by the people of the States, the Senators represented the people (of the States) not the States. This introduced a much greater power of the Federal Government. Then there was the Income Tax amendment. What is not generally recognized is that the Constitution forbids the taxing of Income specifically because it dramatically changes the sovereignty issue. If the Federal or State Government can claim a percentage of your income it becomes unclear whose income it is. Is it your income, earned as a sovereign? or is it the Governments income beacause you are a subject of the Government? (1% to 99% is a matter of degree not principle.) The IRS was then established by executive order, there is no enabling legislation. And, of course, the experience we have of the IRS is principally the fear it engenders of the Government. And then the worst affront to sovereignty was the establishment of the Federal Reserve System which transferred the sovereign right and authority of the peoples respresentative to issue the currency and regulate the value thereof to PRIVATE banks. It is obvious to me that the sovereignty of the Federal Government and thereby of the people, was, in fact, transferred to the PRIVATE BANKERS who own the Federal Reserve. All the currency (money) in circulation is issued as debt. What happens is that you create the money by pledging real assets to the banks which are then able to issue the currency backed by the pledged assets. The money is not created out of thin air as some claim, but rather it is created to represent the value of the assets pledged. What also happens, and the significance of this is overlooked even by Ron Paul, is that the currency is extinguished as the loan is repaid. And now the worst part. There is no way in this system for the money to pay the interest to be created. All the money to pay the interest has to come from new principle. There is never enough money to pay the interest because it is never created. This is the only reason for the need for growth. If the economy is not expanding, if only financially, there will not be enough new loans (principle) to supply the money needed to pay the interest. Of course, once you know this it is clear why everyone has incurred so much debt. Where else will we get the money the economy needs? If the currency is issued interest free and debt free by the Federal Goverment and the money supply is expanded and contracted to maintain a constant value then the money is only a measure of the relative value of the goods and services to each other and is no longer an instrumen of control. I could, of course, go on about this for a few books worth, but an easy way to understand this is a google video called Money as Debt. Search for it on www.video.google.com
thank you for posting this, i believe it is a result of the previous thread that i was involved in titled so will you sell out in the general section. i only wish the 3rd phase could have been more detailed as it shows they are not sure what those days will look like....granted no one does.
tho i would have prefered and more detailed and consentrated mission statment as most companies do today
Kudos to BTM for creating a forum and web site where people can share their views and build community. This took vision, organization and hard work.
I still have some reservations about contributing to build something that may be later sold for a profit.
Just about everyone who contributes here does so on a voluntary basis and if the end result of all this is to score financial rewards for the owners then I would feel a bit foolish.
Anyway, awareness, education and community building are all important steps - though what to do once that is achieved remains to be seen. The old adage that the "majority rules" no longer applies to this country.
Great Website!

Well said Rick, but doesn't this make us all terrorist under The Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act of 2007 :)
Oh well, I guess I'll just have to take my chances.
seems even hear poeple feel the need to shy away from the t word....
We're not terrorists under any law; we do not advocate or condone violence or overthrow of the government. R
One of the principal venues in which we have lost freedom is in our medical care. The government now collects billions from taxpaying citizens which are doled out to other citizens in the form of Medicare and Medicaid. People on those programs think they are getting something free- they are actually getting medical care through money confiscated from one group of citizens and bestowed on other groups.
This is dangerous for us all. As the amounts spent rise, government tries to put on the brakes by paying physicians less and less, and criminalizing physicians. Meanwhile, old people are devalued, because they are being paid for by strangers, and those strangers do not care whether 86 year old Aunt Susie or Uncle Joe dies of cancer or not.
As things stand now, the government is like a cat owner who takes a sick cat to the vet, and when told the cat will cost, say, $150.00 to treat, the owner says " Just put him to sleep." Our lives are not our own under government paid medical care. Death is the ultimate economy.
