To what extent are we able to disengage from the truth on certain topics of importance to the American people. There are facts which reveal the fiasco labeled “The War on Terror” was sold by the same media that is now selling “Global Warming”. It was the very same media companies that bolstered the lies about 9-11 such as: Iraq being involved with 9-11 and the health of the first responders. It was the same media that stifled dissent about Iraq and the lead up and follow through to the unconstitutional and undeclared actions in Iraq and Afghanistan. This is the same media that Bob Woodward had a conversation about in his book “The Choice: How Clinton Won”.

Bob Woodward stated Forbes reflection on the presidential race as lifting “…the scales from his eyes about the Washington journalistic and political reporting community. It was a closed system”, Bob notes Forbes stating, “that looked at itself as the personnel department – a screening and interviewing and background-checking operation for the presidency. If the chief political reporters didn’t know a candidate, they were aghast at the candidate, not themselves. When he had come within striking distance and had won some primaries in Delaware and Arizona,” again quoting Forbes “I think they were genuinely, every cell in their body was outraged that this could be happening. And it wasn’t put on. It came from the soul (Woodward, 411-2).”

Just ponder this paragraph for a moment. The Media Elite, The Washington Media Elite have this self-defined perception of determining who is suited in “their” view to be the president; a mater-of-fact “We decide not you” attitude! This seems to be the cause for the lapse (but not completely missing) unbiased and reflective media informing the general public about each of the candidates. Has there been discussion of the damage this can do to our Republic. I would think so but I have never actually felt that scorn as blatantly as demonstrated towards the Ron Paul or Dennis Kucinich campaigns. After an initial invitation, followed by exclusion, a lawsuit and an appeal, MSNBC successfully barred Dennis Kucinich from the Democratic presidential debate in Las Vegas. As for Ron Paul, there was active organization that scared the shit out of the GOP to let him in the First Debate(s) then marginalized, passed as a racist and left for dead.

Doesn’t it seem funny that when it was popular to support anti-terrorist actions it was all over the news; now it seems as though it is an after thought. As if they achieved what they wanted. Now what’s the next boggy man “Global Warming”. Here’s an interesting article about how decent is not the norm in the “Global Warming” hysteria.

Global Warming:

In reflection, for a while it was hard to get any information out about the “Global Warming Crisis” and with NASA reports being doctored and a slew of Oil company propaganda, it was hard to not accept the truth of the “Global Climate Crisis”; however rushing head first and passing legislation without fully understanding the causes and effects of said legislation will do to the “Global Warming Crisis” what the congress (past and present) and current administration did with the Terrorist threat; fucked it up! I think the greatest difference is that on one hand, the legal and environmental damage of Terrorist activities is relatively contained and reversible; whereas ecological manipulation and damage is unpredictable at a much greater scale and indirectly threatens mine and everyone else’s future on this planet. To not allow the right amount of discourse because “The Media” has decided that this is their issue and that “their” view of said issue is undeniable is just stupid and very dangerous to the future of our country and planet.

I use resources from both sides of the isle and would like for anyone else to list articles and books relating to this issue. Any help will be great! Also let me know what you think.
