Something unfortunate about almost all news groups is the fact everything seems to be negative. ALL THE TIME. It gets depressing and a lot of people turn it off and just close themselves away from the worlds politics, economy, and news in general. This could be one reason America is so closed off from the rest of the world and their country.

Break The Matrix could help change this by showing not only the negatives of American politics, war, news, but also the many great things that go on in this nation everyday.

Important movements, freedoms being used and appreciated, good helpful laws, and the like.

I'm not sure if this sounds Naive and perhaps there is nothing good to talk about with America besides Ron Paul and this revolution, but there has to be something else.

It would be nice to have this be "Fair and Balanced" to America with the Good and Bad things that go on here.

Might be a good way to bring International support to America again.

Hell, maybe there could even be a section of the site dedicated to all the things that are good that are coming out of America

Just a thought,

Greg

One good thing is that Break

One good thing is that Break the Matrix isn't alone as far as being a freedom oriented media company. There is also Free Talk Live at www.freetalklive.com. A syndicated libertarian radio show. They've been around only a couple years and are heard on around 30 stations around the country, as well as on the internet. And they're growing rapidly. They have a talk show 6 nights a week. Check them out.

Our message of optimism,

Our message of optimism, hope, freedom and prosperity is all about the goodness of America. What it has been; and most importantly, what it can be again. R

Hi gregoryjhil, It's not

Hi gregoryjhil,

It's not naive to want to promote good things about your country at all. It should be a source of pride for all of us, but there are a lot of negative things going on here and it's hard to see the good things sometimes.

Take the housing crisis for example, hardly a source of pride for very many of us, however consider how many newly homeless people there are who lost their jobs, their homes, and their investments, all in less than six months.

We are a strong, resilient people who will adapt, wake up, and change our lives as well as this once great nation very soon. Who knows? Some of us might get off the couch to do it... Some might even lose a few pounds.

I think international help is over however, being that most people in other countries would giggle with delight if our economy crashed and a few hundred nukes were set off here... Sorry to put it like that but it's true. It comes with the territory of being an authoritarian empire for so long.

Well the fact the rest of

Well the fact the rest of the world is in some way or another dependent on the American dollar and economy I don't think they would be laughing very long.

My main point was that although this site is designed to highlight the "revolution" and all the things wrong with the country that the mainstream media won't touch, doesn't mean it can't also show the good things that often times the mainstream media refuses to cover. I'm not talking about making negative things seem good, I'm talking about things like people going over to Darfur to help out and American scientists who develop and find cures to illnesses and other things positive worth mentioning to the public.
