I'm surprised no one has started a thread on this already (maybe I missed it), but has anyone else read Ron Paul's new book, "The Revolution: A Manifesto"? A friend of mine who has been something of a campaign insider got me a pre-release copy, but I hear it is in stores now.

It's a quick read and is a kind of "next step" beyond RP's campaign speeches. Most of his talking points are developed at length very effectively.

Also, a highlight is the recommended reading list at the back of the book. Lots of titles dealing with foreign policy, monetary policy, and the freedom philosophy. Check it out!

I was at Borders today to try to pick it up but they didn't get any yet. I'll pick it up this Monday. This is the first book ever that I was actually waiting to come out for.

I gave up on Borders today.

I gave up on Borders today. The Ron Paul book is in such high demand that their warehouse was dry. They gave me a two week waiting window had I wanted to reserve the book. I'm going with Amazon and I suggest you do the same.

That must be very frustrating. The silver lining, as some have pointed out, is that by not anticipating the demand for the book, the publisher and retail outlets will in effect keep the title on the bestseller list for a longer time since it will take several weeks to fill everyone's orders.
