I love what is being attempted here...but I'd like to get something answered up front.

If BTM one day grows to enormous proportions and you actually become a major media conglomerate on the cable news, will you one day sell to Rupert Murdoch or General Electric for 1 billion?

If true, please let me know now so I can leave immediately and not get too excited about this endeavor here.

Funny, this actually crossed

Funny, this actually crossed my mind also.. as a future stockholder in this effort I will vote it down just like most everyone else would. Just think of the fortune in freedom that we will all achieve in this cause. No IRS, federal income tax or Federal Reserve.? That'll do it for me.

I want to buy shares of BTM!

I want to buy shares of BTM! I hope there's enough content to keep everyone interested and involved. I'm a total news junkie - I scan through all the light entertainment on AOL and then read the top stories on Infowars and prison planet and then I scan the forums here. Still, sometimes the content gets kind of repetitive or people just run out of things to say. I guess getting offline and picking up a book every once in a while is something to consider again.

I don't think BTM will grow

I don't think BTM will grow to such monster proportions very quickly. I've been a libertarian for 35 years and have seen a lot of freedom oriented endeavors come and go. The market for such enterprises isn't very large and it is VERY EXPENSIVE to advertise to expand. BTM is definitely a long term proposition and will expand very slowly. But they are not alone. Free Talk Live at www.freetalklive.com is a syndicated libertarian radio talk show that is on only about 30 stations around the country as well as on the internet. It took them around three years to grow that much. Patience is a virtue here I think.

The major factor that is

The major factor that is being overlooked here is "the market". If BTM becomes large enough for other companies to want to buy it out (to suppress the message) then it's far too late for them to do so. Why? Because the market will have proven it wants this message and that means not just one company will reach out to fill the need, many companies will. BTM will have proven this is a successful business model.

When we get that large they will all be trying to copy us in order to compete. By then we will have won the battle. At that point we will then buy FOX and I will personally fire Bill O'rielly :)

I agree with the concern of selling out to Google or Rupert, however that "danger" is also added incentive to buy shares when we get the chance. If this project ends up enriching a lot of liberty minded folks then that will be good for the movement. We'd have more capital to start more and better freedom oriented projects. As soon as Trevor can sell some shares out there into the freedom movement the better. I helps allign our incentives even more strongly and we can get some good work done.

Of course, I think the more direct benefits of freeing up good information to more people will be just as important as the monetary benefits.

"Selling out" would defeat

"Selling out" would defeat the entire purpose, so it's most unlikely. I would like to see BTM get so strong that people will offer gobs of money to buy them out, just to watch principle and character triumph over greed.

the way i see it...if the purpose of this company is as such; and if they founders expect u to back the effort, promote, support, donate, what ever have you...then its best to establish some type of company purpose or statment that will live with the company which supports its core values, purpose, and beliefs of the supporters...one must remember the share houlders are few but the supporters are many, and if you want to keep your supporters you need to care to them not the share holders....

For $1,000,000,000 in fiat currency, no, I'd die first.

For $1,000,000,000 in money, yeah, I'd sell out . . . but wait, that would mean we've won. Good god I hope this thing is worth a billion; fast. When it is, $1,000,000,000 will also be worth a billion.

When's the IPO, Trevor?

It's really not that far fetched to include that many zero's if you put it in perspective. Murdoch bought that internet company IGN for 650 million not that long ago.

Hey Junkie_XL... here's an idea. Maybe we can look toward possible long term goals of BTM growing and buying out Rupert's media congolmerates to free some more minds. :)

If I'm a sheep for stepping in with the "out-crowd" and doing my part to expose the realities that face us, as a nation, then so be it. Bah, Bah, Bah. The message being cast forth is the right message.

I support the cause and the revolution with or without BTM and am happy to be in on the early stages of an important media revolution that parallels an equally important political revolution. I will vote for Ron Paul and sleep well at night with a clear conscious knowing I voted my heart and for the right man for the job. Here's a prediction too: In 2012, when BTM is still going strong - I'll vote for the right man/woman for the job then too! The glass isn't half empty, it's not half full... It's overflowing!

The pentagon, google, and

The pentagon, google, and the CIA are all stepping up their programs of propaganda via Information Intelligence. It was reported as well that they are hiring bloggers for this operation, as well as creating Social Networks.

As the frontal plant organizations become more frequent, so will their signatures. So the goal then is to watch and observe the signatures.

Yes, we will wait and see who this really is. As for now I think that the issues I have seen are still a little soft. Let get honest whether or not our ideals get into office or not, there are still some issues that take the cake.

1. The global elites plan to reduce the population of the Earth via eugenics.

2. The goal of the global elite to install a one world order on all levels. This plan has been in the making for thousands of years.

3. The North American Union in which will be precipitated by another false flag attack to install Marshal Law(bush has arranged for the sitting president to become dictator if this takes place), and force the NAU.

4. There are some other issues that the public might not be ready for yet, and yes they do deal with external influences from Humanity multi dimensionally. Get real, it would take us at the speed of light 193,000 years to just cross the diameter of our own Galaxy. There are an estimated billion Galaxies in the known Universe. We have ancient accounts from all over the world of extraterrestrial beings interacting with Humans. But this is for another time, now is for the small dimension of existence we call the physical right...

5. World population are being used in the warfare today by the elite withholding food to nations as a means of fear tactics, war, and depopulation methods.

6. The Bill of Rights, and the Constitution, Habeas Corpus. Without these ground works we will have no legal means to do anything against them. They will not stop their agenda, so we need to firmly ask ourselves what are we will to do to bring about change. I think this might be why they want to take that second amendment away from us, dont you?

The question is do we really understand what these people truly are? And I know that we still do not. And when the majority finally do find out it will be to late, for them finding out will be death coming to their doorway. They are Satanist, pedophiles, and killers of the darkest orders that still reside upon the Earth. The ancient bloodlines that have crafted the foundations of the present deep in the past.

They own BTM they can do

They own BTM they can do whatever they want with it. If you are a libertarian/capitalist you should respect that and trust in the free market, and if you don't trust someone else to do it, the free market gives you the ability to take on this endeavor yourself if you don't like it. That is what freedom is.

We fully recognize the

We fully recognize the concern about "selling out" to adversaries down the road, and have given this subject considerable thought. Our conclusion (as discussed in my earlier post) is that it would be inappropriate from the standpoint of corporate responsibility for Rick Williams or Trevor Lyman (or anyone else) to issue any edict or statement that would limit the discretion of future directors and shareholders on the subject of sale of the company. Moreover, in addition to being inappropriate, any such edict or statement would be bad business strategy, in our opinion. and would harm shareholder value over the entire life of the company. Purchase offers, whether accepted or not, provide a measurement of company success, and the very existence of offers typically has the effect of enhancing shareholder value. Purchase offers are an indicia of success; an indicator of value; and tangible evidence of progress in our mission. Purchase offers are properly looked upon as favorable events for shareholders, and we will issue no statement at this early stage that might have the effect of discouraging (or precluding) future purchase offers. It would be shortsighted and improper for us to do otherwise. Rick Williams

Junkie_XL has raised a

Junkie_XL has raised a legitimate concern about sale of the company down the road. However, his question involves fundamental duties of corporate responsibility, and the "answer" that Junkie seeks is not a proper subject for present determination. Issuance of any sort of edict or commitment on this subject by Rick Williams or Trevor Lyman (or anyone else) that purports to bind future owners/stockholders of the company would be highly inappropriate and irresponsible. Consideration of any purchase offer that might arise for the company in the future is properly a matter to be undertaken by the then--existing Board of Directors and stockholders in light of the circumstances which exist at that time. It is not for us to decide. Rick Williams
