The laborers said they paid middlemen more than $2,000 to get to Iraq for jobs that they were told would earn them $600 to $800 a month. Some of the men took out loans to cover the fees. ____________________ You would think that with the Recession (Depression) and unemployment in America they should have to hire Americans to work these jobs instead of foreign "slave" labor. But the again, we should not be there at all.
