A simple question that confounds me and that I can't find an answer for: Why do the democrats roll over and give Bush anything he wants? The more it crushes our rights, America's reputation, and the constitution the better.

He has one of the lowest approval ratings of any president, they have the majority...WTF?! Under any other circumstances, or any other time, the dems would be circling like sharks just waiting to do whatever they could to put a wrench in Bush's works. But instead they seem to go out of their way to HELP him.

I've heard others thoughts and ideas, but none seem to hold up. There is no reason they shouldn't be fighting tooth and nail over every proposal that comes out of Bush's mouth, if for no other reason than one party hating the other. If I didn't know better I'd say he must have them all blackmailed. Why else would they be so silent. Their own approval rating, if nothing else, should tell them that they're F'ing things up.

If I was a conspiracy theorist I'd say there has to be more going on here. The things that are happening make no sense, at all.
