Update from the campaign trail...

We have been running for Congress since February, and it only gets more hectic as each day passes. We won the primary against a Republican Party-endorsed candidate and another candidate in the race. After beating them in the primary, we have then taken on the incumbent. Would you believe it? The incumbent then voted for the $700 Billion bailout--both times. He is trying to tell the constituents that this is not a bailout. He's also trying to tell them that they won't be stuck with the bill.

But it gets better...

In 2007, the incumbent Democrat flipped on the war. He's now saying that we have to stay in Iraq longer. He has caught a lot of flak about that position. Being an anti-occupational Republican, I don't have to defend the war. It is quite freeing to have only to defend my own actions, and not those of other members of my party.

Now is the time to take advantage of the anger against the incumbent, and get elected to Congress.
