Update On the Worldo
It seems like only yesterday that I "announced" the Worldo-- my fictionally--named new currency for the world presently in the planning (dreaming) stages of globalist buffoons. That's because IT WAS only yesterday! Ah, how time flies when the socialists are plotting their next disaster. Already, it seems, the titanic level of hyperinflation the Worldo will need to accomplish is spinning off the top end of the charts. The faster the Bankrupt Regimes collapse, the more magic dust a Worldo will have to create if it is to trick anyone into believing it's a real currency with actual value (which of course it's not). So here's your daily dose of Bankrupt Regime failure news for a late October Wednesday. Keep in mind-- this is what a SINGLE DAY of wise leadership from the worldwide bankster criminals has delivered for all of us:
Dow down by 567 points
Ukraine, Pakistan, Belarus seek IMF bailouts
Merck to cut 7200 jobs
Wachovia posts $23.9 billion loss (in a single quarter)
Argentina default looms; government siezes $29 billion in private pension funds
12 million US homeowners owe more than their homes are worth; compared to 6.6 million at the end of last year, and 3 million at the close of 2006
AT&T and Boeing post weaker than expected earnings
National City Bank posts $729 million loss and announces 4000 job layoffs
Citigroup downgraded to "sell" by Goldman Sachs; no profits expected until late 2009 (profits? yeah, sure)
Hungary, Turkey, South Africa currencies crashing (save me, Worldo!)
UK economy has "deteriorated substantially" says Bank of England (save me, Worldo!)
Iceland seeks loan from UK (!) for money to compensate 300,000 British savers (save me, Worldo!)
I could go on, or maybe that's enough for now. But wait-- here's the big news to make us all feel better. Dateline from the Imperial City itself: the Decider has announced today that his globalist Summit of the Bankrupt Regimes will be held in New York on November 15. That cheered me up, for sure. But November 15 seems far away right now; and I can't help but wonder which of the BRs won't survive 'til then. Might see some empty chairs at the Summit of the doomed.

Government intervention is never a solution unless you want something F'd up beyond all belief and control. Can anyone name anything government does well?
Spend our money.
They screw everything up very well :)
I'm stupified by how any one can think government intervention is good. i just can't get my head around it. Government can't even govern itself well, and who knows government better than its own officers??
I mean how obviously bad do things have to be before people are willing to admit to themselves that they are obviously wrong?
Advocating government regulation is like promoting Neverland Ranch All Boys Day Care owned and operated by Michael Jackson in conjunction with the Boston Arch Diocese.
It may take 2 hours or 20 years, but we will end up crying rape.

this is a generated crisis. i'm sure there's a method to the madness. i have to say, i don't share your optimistic outlook as i believe that this chaos was foreseen and well planned. i think that all is going according to plan. the situation will get so bad that people the world over will beg for government intervention. i only hope i'm wrong.
These losers are in a complete state of panic as their scam collapses. R
you are right on the first part. these losers (us) are in a complete state of panic. i for one, have no idea about what i should do with my savings. and the scam may seem like it's collapsing but it not really so, the same banking institutions are still there, just owned by the government. there is serious talk of more global monetary regulation. talk of worldwide currency. these things may very well be implemented but only under a state of chaos and fear. that's all i see brewing right now, chaos and fear. i'm staying calm but i'm not expecting anything good to come out of this.
Rick. btw I love the name for the new fictional currency :)
Only out of desperation will they be implementing a world FR bank and or a world currency. My guess is that at the rate things are going, (and I have to admit things are unwinding much faster and sooner than I had estimated) people are going to reject the idea, but that doesn't mean that they won't try and shuv it down our throats anyways. I am surprised at just how fast the social attitude is changing.. People I would have never thought to lose faith in the banking system or think of things as stocking food items are now moving their money to what they see as safer institutions and buying storeable foods and I thought when I started mentioning things like this to close friends and family they would think I was crazy, but they all agreed.
I do think there will be a significant portion of society that will embrace more socialism as awesom o says, but the freedom voice should be much louder... I have much greater hope now as people are starting to listen to me and what I been preaching for years. I actually convinced two people to buy "The Creature from Jekyll Island " too... Times are changing, just remember when you are telling people of all the gloom to also mention the great prosperity that a smaller non interventionist government and a truely free society will bring and that it doesn't come from a visa or mastercard.
i really hope i'm wrong and you're right.
> Only out of desperation will they be implementing a world FR bank and or a world currency.
< i still maintain that it's not desperation but rather another step in the process. think about this: in what other conditions (other than a financial meltdown) would it be possible to convince people that a worldwide currency is necessary? the solution was already planned, now that their manufactured problem is taking hold, it is time to start suggesting the only possible solution to people.
> people are going to reject the idea [...] but that doesn't mean that they won't try and shuv it down our throats anyways.
< like that matters. people rejected the idea of war with iraq, the massive financial bailout, etc. what did that ever change? whatever is "decided" by the "decider" will be implemented. i saw recently a youtube clip of a senator talking about how people asking her to vote against the bailout just don't know what's good for them and as such their concerns should be dismissed. this is the beginning of the end. sure, good will prevail eventually, but it has to get to a really desperate situation before people even start thinking about what went wrong and who to blame.
asked me two years ago, I probably would have agreed with you. As I have been watching and analyzing the events unfolding it has definitely changed my view.
I always thought that it would be a dollar crisis (continued devaluation vs other currencies) that would have set the precedent for what many were saying would be a North American currency. It turns out that the Inflationary/credit bubble got so out of control that deflation kicked in big time.. the dollar has rallied over 20 percent in the last couple months.. this is good for the consumer as prices fall and you regain more buying power.. Not a good time to be trying to convince people to accept another currency especially when it seems to me that they are finally getting the fact that it is the politicians and Wall st money shufflers who have had a great part in creating this crisis. The bad news is that the stock market will continue to get hit.. NOT good for anyone that has exposure to this.
I have spoke of Social attitudes changing in other posts.. This is a key element in how things will shape up. Much like it did during the Great Depression. People are getting concerned , angry, fed up with the way things are going. Wait till Obama is in office with a majority of democrats in the house and senate. They are going to try and pass every socialist idea down our throats. In my opinion this will cause an even greater shift in attitude. This will be great for the freedom movement... and painful too.. but I would think that most of us would agree that it had to come to this in order to get things back in order.
These are exciting times we are experiencing.. As you said, it is "the beginning of the end". Lets all work hard and hope that the end comes very soon as I believe there will be a great rebirth of freedom waiting for us when we get there.
some would say that the iraq war isn't going as planned. i'd argue that it's going just fine, as it's still going. with this financial clusterfuck it's easy to laugh at their apparent impotence to control it but my opinion of it still stands. i think it's planned and is unfolding according to plan so far. my opinion is based on an educated hunch so i won't try to convince anybody to think like i do on this one, just throwing it out there is all. the bottom line as far as i see it is this: they are, and have been for some time now, going against the will of the people. they make no apologies about it, they don't hide it, because the people can't do squat. so what that the freedom movement is growing? they have electronic voting machines now.
