Read Kenneth Goff's reprint of his communist training manual on psychopolitics which he called BRAINWASHING. One of the chapters uses the word, "(mass) hypnosis 19 times.

Someone else, and his followers, pretend that he wrote the book, but I talked to Kenneth Goff and recorded his talk in Oakland, California during the Goldwater campaign.
I gave the tape recording, on a seven inch reel, to the American Opinion Bookstore in San Jose, CA and when it closed I heard that the tape recordings were given to Gary Allen who later died. Who knows where the recordings are now?

The revolution is alive and well.....

I joined "breakthematrix" because I went to the Ron Paul march in Washington DC a few weeks ago. There were some awesome Revolutionaries who handed out great information about "breakthematrix".

Americans are not all "brainwashed" and we have a very thorough understanding of the issues. Ever notice that none of the "issues" are talked about on mainstream TV? OF COURSE!!! WE ALL KNOW ABOUT THOSE JOKESTERS!

"BreakTheMatrix" is the perfect platform for like minded to people to share in the ideals of limited government, constitutional values and balance.

I joined because I want to be associated with wonderful like-minded individuals that will perpetuate FREEDOM!

Joining BTM

I joined BTM because hopefully there's some open minded folks here looking to expand real debate into new territory. But if everyone starts agreeing on everything (which I doubt) I'm leaving.

I was recommended

by another Ron Paul supporter. I believe in freedom. I believe that my voice is "power for change". And I'm here to meet other like minded people and help spread the truth about failed U.S. policies and currupt polititions. After looking the site over I'm very excited about finding a new home base on the internet.

fabulous Shelly...

A great question and thank you for asking.

The amazing beautiful freedom-loving Julie Archer introduced me to Rick Williams and Break the Matrix. At first I thought, am I dreaming? Are these people really going to attempt to break through the matrix??? Coming from a terrestrial radio background for the past twenty-five years I was overjoyed at the mere thought of being able to speak truth, report on positive uplifting stories and most important, not be censored for my beliefs. Wow, what a country, what a company! I am grateful everyday for the friendships that I have made thus far, and for those that I feel are in my very near future.

I have deep gratitude to my friend Julie for introducing me to my passion, I love you Julz. And to the brilliant Rick...amazing Trevor... positive Kurt and lovely Shelly thank you for your belief in me from the very beginning.

Wow, what a ride we are on!

let's have some fun;-)

Don't just break the matrix, pulverize it!

I joined because Trevor has a track record of getting things done, and with humility I might add.

Rick and Kurt struck me as honest, happy-go-lucky fellas, with a positive message that I feel most can relate to.

And most importantly, because Shelly is a terrific web developer -- If the site didn't strike my fancy at first glance, I would not be here today -- She's clearly the spoke that turns the wheel.

Continued success to you all.

listen while I load my gun...

I have been of the mind for some time now that a media revolution was needed as a precursor to and a tool for dissemination of our message. Also, we can never have enough places to congregate and analyze and fortify our stances on the days issues. At the very best, new people are exposed to the message, at the very least there is some thoughtful conversation in the forums or in the chat or on the air and everyone who is a part of or a witness to it walks away a little smarter, or with a little more resolve. we all win either way.

I examined some alternatives, and i think BTMs approach is the most rational and feasible approach to erecting a valid cable media outlet. i know i cannot continue to donate indefinitely in order to help maintain a media outlet. I can donate a little time and money here and there until BTMs programming reaches a level where it attracts a significant audience, and entices sponsors (commercials) and can support and grow itself.

basically i couldn't think of a single good reason not to join BTM.

Stop Consuming, Start Producing

The best thing about BreakTheMatrix is the fact that someone has been able to raise some money to start *producing* some decent media. The problem is, most people are consumers, like you. If you want to actually help spread the message of freedom, we have to reach out to the clueless and the ignorant. You can't do that without having the great debate.

Be lazy if you must. But the time for passivity is over. Come check out our site if you want to consume or better yet, when you realize its time to *affect* and to produce change.

People who think

I joined for the same reason. It gets very tiring trying to communicate with people who refuse to think. Folks who's idea of discussion or debate involves hurling insults and attempting to marginalize the person with whom they disagree. I will enjoy talking with folks who make a point to know what they are talking about, and people who are open to hearing the point of view of others--possibly disagreeing, but without resorting to childish behavior.

I also got an email from "Campaign for Liberty" and WGEN/Jacki Juntii. =)

Creative Communication's Time Has Come

We have only scratched the surface of creative communication
This revolution of freedom has only just begun. Our job will be
to really communicate with people. Reveal the Matrix and show
sleepwalking Americans what it really is and how it has protected
its self at their expense.

There are literally THOUSANDS of ways to speak to the people.
First rule: Don't use "their" words. Draw from the strength of
the founding documents. Help Americans remember WHO they
are. And we will remind this tyrannical government who they have
become.

Thanks BTM. Creative Communication's Time Has Come

This was an OUTSTANDING idea!

First of all, I got an email from Campaign for Liberty, and Ron Paul hasn't steered me wrong yet!

But, let me say this...this was an OUTSTANDING IDEA! And I'll give you an example of why:

A while back, I heard about the July 12th rally in DC. I immediately became very zealous about the idea of attending. But I live in Louisiana, and our unbelievably ruined economy have my household budget VERY tight. Airfare was out of the question. I wanted to find like-minded people that would share the rental of a mini-van to go up. I work for a major car rental company, so I could've gotten us a very cheap deal...

But how do you find people who share your zest for liberty and freedom?

I eventually gave up on the idea.

Had I known of this site...and had this site really caught on and had a huge population of members...I'd likely have the trip organized already.

Well, at least there's the September rally! Maybe I can make that work!

Again, OUTSTANDING idea!

Thanks,

Reed

On giving up hope...

I joined BTM to find others with ideas. Ideas on how to reach the people who don't vote or understand the governmental process. These people are tired from working two jobs and raising a family. These people are brainwashed by the media. These people feel they are stuck with the system. These people can't afford the Internet to find the truth. These people don't believe their voice is power for change. These are the people who will change government. We have all been one of these people at one time.

I have found that the politically active population know so much that they are creating messages that aren't simplified enough to reach the millions of apathetic Americans. We need short, consistent and clear messages to reach out and stop the apathy. I'm looking for others who would like to help create these messages and start changing minds, one at a time.

An interesting concept

An interesting concept Kathleen. While I get what you are saying, it's also important to note that the very real issues that face this nation are more complex than a bunch of one-liners.

Example:
You could put out a pamphlet that has phrases like:

"Impeach George Bush"
"Bring our troops home"
"Hannity is a liar"
"Obama is dangerous"
"McCain is not conservative"

But without the in-depth discussions (those very discussion that can break the apathy), there is absolutely no hope for getting the message out to people. In a sense, I guess what I'm saying is that you can use the site to build up your arguments to take to the street, but it's easier to take that argument away from BTM and to the streets than to bring the streets to BTM (I hope that made sense - LOL).

I'd certainly be interested in some examples of "consistent and clear" messages that you propose taking to the streets... (as I'm sure others on here would too). It will be tough because a lot of these poeple you talk about are enamored by Obama's message of "hope" and "change" as an avenue to quitting their second job...

Oh yeah, back to the topic, I joined BTM because I'm tired of not having any real substance in my news. I'm tired of so-called "journalists" using their time-slots to spew spin under the false guise of "news coverage".

Thanks for the reply DeltaRho2K

I don't agree that people can't be reached with one liners and then presented with some simple ideas. Players like Obama are getting people with just one or two words, as you yourself have stated, words like "hope" or "change" and they don't even have to present any great solutions, they just let each individual create their own vision of "change" even if that picture isn't whats in his head. It's very convenient for politicians that we accept this kind of campaigning. Also, our society is trained to tune into the 10 second message. There has to be many messages, since one will reach many, but not all. I agree that finding the these simple and consistent messages will not be easy. But I am willing to try.

Then there is the correct format. I think many of the productions on this site are for people like us who are active in politics. Take, for example the Animal Farm piece. As a librarian I can't pretty much say that most people have not read Animal Farm, nor would they understand the politics presented in it. There is DVD form but this has been tried by AOL and others who send the discs that are thrown away. The Internet is so vast that most wouldn't even know where to start to find a message. I think that the best way is simple post card sized paper or email messages.

What are the messages? We all think a bit differently on specific issues but the core concepts of Free Speech, Less Government and Individualism are the keys to a simple non-partisan message for apathetic non-voters. These core concepts are the simple messages. If you look at findings on who votes or doesn't vote you will find these results.

http://people-press.org/report/292/who-votes-who-doesnt-and-why

About 50% don't vote or rarely vote. They need to be offered a solution to not having a voice. You can argue that it's their responsibility to find out about candidate or it's their civil duty but these ideals don't hold water. People are just not doing it and I don't believe that it's because they don't care. They are like I was, beaten down by media and the system to the point of apathy.

This is why I am here. I'm looking for people who want to work together to create these messages. We don't have to be professional writers, photographers or actors. The messages need to be real messages from real people. I would like to believe that we can change the minds of individuals who are already playing the voting game but I think our hope for numbers will ultimately come from the 50% of infrequent and non-voters.

This is where my passion is and I'm hoping to find a few others that feel the same way.
