It is always great to see the writings of Dr Paul in the media, but this one is of particular importance as it points out the issues there are with the Republican Party nationwide. And now we see multiple accounts of the government wanting to "retool" the mechanisms of the bailout (commercial paper, ha!). Instead of doing what they say, they decided to do what they want for the benefit of the banksters. There are those up in arms about this change, but I think there are more that are disappointed in the attitude that creating more debt is the only way to get out of this debt. People are starting to feel the squeeze of this economy and Congress decided it would be a good opportunity to "do something". Will we wake up from the sleep that has allowed them to run away without any oversight? And now we hear proposals for the nationalization of the automotive industry, among other things, from the president-elect. We are in a good position to spread the message of freedom if we choose to take up that mantle.
