Here is an excellent documentary by John Pilger on the USAs relationship with South America covering the media's demonization of Hugo Chavez, the US sponsored military coup against Chavez and the Venezualan people's uprising to reinstate Chavez as their elected president.

It's both inspiring to see the power of the people in toppling a military dictatorship and disturbing to see another example of proven US backed coup against democracy. So much for spreading democracy.
