The more brainwashed minions of the darkside seem to respond
automatically to direct orders, regardless (apparently) of who's
giving them. At least that's been my experience.
Obtaining and using a "succor punch" seems to dispense with
the necessity of audible commands. Its continued use develops
in the user abilities that make such hardware obsolete. Your
