Need a bit of code to keep the status window on the main page from being flooded with corrections when someone lets say me makes a typo and then corrects the typo making a new typo which then also gets correct which then messes up the grammar requiring another change... each touch puts another entry into the main windows' everyones' status updates box.
so, a timer mechanism of some sort would probably be helpful. Whee, more to do items!

Oh yeah, I apologize guys. I make alotta' typos, and I try to proof read the first time, but I end up having to correct it 5 times after I think I've got it right. I noticed that too, sorry about that. I think it would be a good idea to put at least an hour time limit on the updates for articles and comments.
Heh heh... it's funny, I keep finding these little threads all over the place where people are venting about the Creation vs Evolution topic. They keep giving their opinion, but still avoid the main thread so it makes it seem like they, and everyone else, don't wanna' talk about it, but they do anyway because it's such an important issue.

I'm keeping a low profile (see my picture, a turtle). I don't want to wander in between the Evolutionists and the Creationists. Both of 'em seem crazier and nuttier than a Christmas fruitcake. Want to stay out of that war. Got enough wars.
I kinda like geology, but the Evolutionists (mostly) think that Darwin just worked in biology and that he created a 'belief' system. The Creationist somehow usually think that Darwin created a 'social system' that affects religion.
My own conversion to Christianity came in 1993 by about 20 dead authors, and a couple still kickin', but mainly two jerk-head jokers, Richard Feynman and Thomas Paine, neither of which were Christians. Looking up words in Latin and Greek makes the Bible look a whole bunch different, and it takes basic astronomy skills to understand the Old Testament (IMHO).
A few weeks back, I got into a major fight with 'bout everyone about algae. If you look around on the internet (research), you see things like algae turns sunlight into energy . At my weekly war protests, one lady has a Biology background, believes in evolution, and claims the same thing. I'm not optimistic about the public school system with that kind of 'fuzzy-science' proliferating.
Richard Feynman (Surely your joking) warned us about the troubles we will have in science and the school system when we teach garbage science.
Looks to me that the tech world will be dominated by Europe and Asia in the next 10 years, who have better school systems. Dumb people make consumers, but that's about it.
Just keepin' a low profile.
I don't check Break The Matrix often. I usually scan the world through the filter of Digg. http://digg.com/ Saves time. On Digg, my ID is Taxed.
It's a way for you to let fellow BTM'ers know what you are doing, what you think about something, or pretty much anything you feel like sharing with the group!
It will show up in the new "Recent Activity on BTM" block (which I might rename, but you'll see what I mean).
I think we might have some fun with it ;)
I'm in the midst of adding a bunch of new features...

No live shows today, or is my computer being scolded?
I'll try it.
