WOW!!! What a great time. It was so great to meet Rick Williams, Trevor, Shelly and Kurt. My wife, two sons and I arrived a few minutes before 3pm and were the first on scene. Shortly thereafter Rick appeared, checked into the motel and mentioned we were going to meet right there in the hotel lobby. Around 3:30pm Rick came down from his room, Kurt showed up and then Trevor and Shelly. We had fun with introductions and getting to know each other better. Windy City Attorney showed up with his brother and later on a few others came by the party.

Around 5pm the hotel lobby filled up with Pages (young men and women from all 50 states and territories) for the Republican National Convention. They were there to get their gear to wear to the RNC doings. One of the young Pages, a sharp dressed gentleman from Oregon (around age 17) came over and asked if we were Ron Paul supporters. We heartily stated "Yes" we were. We invited him to interview on the BTM live streaming internet TV. It was a great interview and I hope it gets clipped and available for all to view online.

My wife and I are a FRIEND sponsor of the Rally For The Republic event (Sept. 2) and will be showcasing our handcrafted art called Grandles. http://www.grandles.com. They are stone and fossils made into awesome oil candles. Check 'em out. My personal pride and joy is my tall bearded iris garden. I have a new website being build at this time (still under construction) at http://www.EchoIris.com. I am currently growing over 350 varieties of tall bearded irises. As time permits this fall, I will be adding more beautiful pictures to the website.
