Political mantras: from "wanting change" to "needing help"
Posted by Claire on Wed, 10/08/2008 - 12:03pm in According to the mantras of Barack Obama's campaign, Americans have gone from "wanting change" to "needing help". How convenient for Obama. If he wins he will use this supposed need for state "help" to justify exercising yet more power over all of us. Of course, McCain is following two steps behind, as always, promising help for homeowners...
I dearly hope the American public will prove them both wrong, and instruct their representatives in the house and senate to respect our constitutional rights.
We need help all right. We need to help each other get rid of these dangerous politicians and replace them with people who understand what is really in the interest of the American people: limited, constitutional government.

Hi Claire,
I talk to alot of different people and it doesn't look good. It is clear to me too many peoples worlds are created by TV, radio and the party controlled media. They seem to think in 1950's /60's terms. How many even know there is now a South American Union. If you wish to be enlightened check out www.archetypediscoveriesworldwide.com , this is what "THEY" use.
Interesting website, albertaken. It looks to me like Americans are buying into the "helpless victim" archetype. Governments use this archetype to convince people that they need to hand over power to the state that will "take care" of them... Kind of like the witch in the gingerbread house wanted to "take care" of Hansel and Gretel. Now there is an archetype I wish more Americans would keep in mind.
