Subject: Obama verse McCain Tax Plan

This is important...
Please read this will -- then decide who are you going to vote for...

--- On Thu, 7/3/08,

INTERESTING DATA JUST RECEIVED ON TAXES

This is something you should be

aware of so you don't get blind-sided.
This is really going to catch a lot

of families off guard. It should
make you worry.

Proposed changes in taxes after 2008 General election:

CAPITAL GAINS TAX

MCCAIN
0% on home sales up to $500,000

per home (couples) McCain does not
propose any change in existing

home sales income tax.

OBAMA
28% on profit from ALL home sales

How does this affect you?

If you sell your home and make a profit, you
will pay 28% of your gain on taxes.

If you are heading toward retirement
and would like to down-size your

home or move into a retirement
community, 28% of the money you

make from your home will go to taxes. This
proposal will adversely affect the

elderly who are counting on the income
from their homes as part of their retirement income.

DIVIDEND TAX

MCCAIN 15% (no change)

OBAMA 39.6%

How will this affect you?

If you have any money invested in stock
market, IRA, mutual funds,

college funds, life insurance, retirement
accounts, or anything that pays

or reinvests dividends, you will now
be paying nearly 40% of the money

earned on taxes if Obama become president.

The experts predict that 'higher

tax rates on dividends and capital gains

would crash the stock market yet
do absolutely nothing to cut the deficit.

INCOME TAX

MCCAIN (no changes)

Single making 30K - tax $4,500
Single making 50K - tax $12,500
Single making 75K - tax $18,750
Married making 60K- tax $9,000
Married making 75K - tax $18,750
Married making 125K - tax $31,250

OBAMA
(reversion to pre-Bush tax cuts)
Single making 30K - tax $8,400
Single making 50K - tax $14,000
Single making 75K - tax $23,250
Married making 60K - tax $16,800
Married making 75K - tax $21,000
Married making 125K - tax $38,750

Under Obama your taxes will

more than double!
How does this affect you? No explanation

needed. This is pretty
straight forward.

INHERITANCE TAX

MCCAIN 0% (No change, Bush repealed this tax)

OBAMA Restore the inheritance tax

How does this affect you? Many families

have lost businesses,
farms and ranches, and homes

that have

been in their families
for generations because they could not

afford the inheritance tax.
Those willing their assets to loved

ones will not only lose them to
these taxes.

NEW TAXES BEING PROPOSED BY OBAMA

* New government taxes proposed on

homes that are more than
2400 square feet

* New gasoline taxes (as if

gas weren't high enough already)

* New taxes on natural resources

consumption (heating
gas, water, electricity)

* New taxes on retirement accounts

and last but not least....

* New taxes to pay for socialized medicine

so we can receive the same
level of medical care as other
third-world countries!!!

McCain isn't gonna push for

McCain isn't gonna push for tax hikes, hes just gonna have the Fed print more money, and instead of paying 28% on the profit of the sale of your home, you'll just pay $8 a gallon for Gasoline and $6 home heating oil.

Either way, your gonna pay. I don't want to advocate for that rat bastard Obama in any way, but at least with him, you see the taxes coming at you. McCain is just gonna sucker punch everyone with inflationary tax. In my opinion that is dirty, underhanded, and causes a lot more stress, and distress among the populace, than if you just up the percentages.

Of course neither is a suitable alternative to the other, and thats why I'm here at BTM and not of campaigning for one of those two used prophylactics.

If you put a noose around the neck of a neo con and put him up on a stool, he'll kick the stool out from under himself because "well for better or for worse I'm already here."

It's the spending

Not the taxes we need to look at... McCain wants two wars....Obama .. got all these give aways...
My children and grandkids are picking up the bills.........
IT's THE SPENDING>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Who will vote for either of these Two ,,,,

"It's NOT me GIVING them the money...

...it's only them spending the money that we need to stop, or my grandchildren will have to keep giving them money, too!!!"

Brilliant, Joe. Still working on that six-pack you mentioned earlier? Or has the GOP gotten to you with their "CUT SPENDING!!!" mantra (while they spend you blind and you keep signing those tax returns)?

Here; let's try a simplistic analogy.

Your 14-year-old is a spoiled brat. He's a drug addict, an habitual liar, and the worst spendthrift you've ever seen. Still, you respect his office (he's your kid) so you give him an allowance of $10,000 a week. Cash. Every week without fail.

You do this for about 90 years, bumping it up by 8-10% per year. You also give your son every perk known to man: private limo, hairdresser, fancy foreign junkets, several homes scattered hither and you...all the while, showing this insane, criminal brat that you fear him...like death itself.

(Some of you remember the old Taxpayer-dupe line, "death and taxes".)

Your fear is warranted sure enough, for your son has developed some rather 'unsavory' friends who know their way around firearms and trenchcoats. His own personal al Qaeda, to assure that you don't "break your promise", or fail to "do your fair share as a proper parent".

Finally, your deep devotion to your 'tyke' (now almost 104 years old and crooked as ever) wanes and you begin to have a change of heart. You decide that by next month (your 124th birthday) you will be done with this charade.

You begin to hold rallies and marches outside his bedroom.

You chant slogans and make very professional posters: "SON, CUT SPENDING NOW!!!"

You hire a new representative every couple of weeks to try to reform him so he'll cut his spending, but nothing changes.

But three things you will NOT do ("my CPA says it's illegal"):

1) you do NOT ever cut his allowance
2) you never, EVER stop fearing him
3) you DON'T hold your breath.

Keep letting them skim your checks but petition them not to spend it, Joe? What's that phrase the kids like to use..."Good luck with that!"?

What did I miss

Did Dr Paul say that before taxes are addressed we must cut the size of Gov and spending.
No wars no big Gov no need for taxes.

Posted by Browncoat Joe on Wed, 07/16/2008 - 14:04
You STILL don't get it, Joe?

Look: I made you a simple illustration about having a spoiled, criminal son who spends too much yet you keep increasing his astronomically-high allowance.

Is this fundamental principle of economics and human nature too hard to grasp?

Ron Paul is a man of his generation; a great statesman compared with the others in Congress, but of course that's not saying much. He is still clueless about a great many mega-trends in politics, economics, and the sociological ramifications of the internet. Dr. Paul does not know the first thing about Tax Honesty; by any measure it's a HUGE trend. But 'business-as-usual' politicians just can't see cutting off a trillion-dollar spigot of largesse. Even Ron Paul can't see it happening; he's a man of another generation, that's all.

The 100% efficacious method of cutting spending, is to actually CUT the spending. CUT the money flow, and do it NOW! This works in 100% of cases; it's not rocket science.

Ron Paul is a soft spoken, gracious statesman who has lived in a den of unprincipled thieves and criminals for too long. As I've said before, many of his 'solutions' to the most pressing issues of today are mere platitudes and one-liners. You can't just abolish the IRS; taxes are necessary to the proper function of government. You don't just wipe out the Tax Code because there is nothing essentially wrong with it, except the fraudulent application of its thousands of 'loopholes' by the parasitic tax industry.

Why is it that tens of millions of us can just OBEY the Tax Code, and force the IRS to obey it, also...and we're just fine, while the Taxpayer hordes keep whining yet haven't even tried reading it?

Stop giving money to thieves, and they must stop spending it. Is this too complex to understand?

Fools maybe

Look if you cut off the taxes they print funny money, beg, borrow or steal what they need. It's their game they control the rules! They Confiscate property. Their guns are bigger than ours. Please don't think you are as smart as the DR. or the founders..

Posted by Browncoat Joe on Wed, 07/16/2008 - 21:06
"Their guns are bigger!"? Hogswallop!

Joe, you're talking out the wrong end, big guy.

I never said I was as smart as Ron Paul; I could never practice medicine, for instance. Nor do I know as much about Congress as Dr. Paul does. But I'll debate him any day, anywhere on the Tax Code and the history and application of the federal income tax. I've studied it for a decade, and he obviously hasn't.

I am not as smart as the founders, either, but that's a red herring, Joe. If "the founders" have anything to do with whether we should start enforcing the Constitution right now or not, they would take MY side of this discussion, not yours.

As for your preposterous rant, "It's their game they control the rules! They confiscate property. Their guns are bigger than ours." Wrong, wrong, wrong, and wrong!

It is NOT "their game"; everyone must obey the Tax Code and government employees must obey the Code of Federal Regulations. Every law-abiding Nontaxpayer by definition obeys the Tax Code and so is perfectly safe from "their game", Joe.

"They" do NOT "control the rules". The federal laws apply equally to all; if you don't violate laws, you are within "the rules". But you just don't get this because you've never read even one single line of the Tax Code. You're not just terrorised; your ignorantly so and that is a sad -- but reversible -- condition.

"They" do NOT confiscate property if you don't do stupid things. I've called them to their face DOZENS of times by certified mail for TEN YEARS, Joe -- at the beginning I was writing back a counter-threat letter about once every three months, and they have never taken one dollar or one paper napkin from my home.

I've already given you a ton of free information...I'm not going to learn for you, too, my fellow American! My website and the links I give you there (including to the offices of Nontaxpayer.org) will keep you from losing property to state-sponsored terrorists. But you have to lift a finger, Joe.

And no, Joe, their guns are not "bigger than ours". It is a violation of federal, state, and many local laws for any IRS agent to carry a firearm to your home if you are not involved in the manufacture or sale of alcohol, tobacco products, firearms, or explosives. If you doubt this, look up Section 7608(a) of the Internal Revenue Code, Joe.

An IRS agent is involved in state-sponsored terrorism if (s)he tries to compare "guns" with you, my friend, inless it's in a friendly competition at an NRA or local gun club match. If you ever see an IRS agent showing a gun in or around a private residence, CALL THE SHERIFF IMMEDIATELY and tell him there is a crime in progress.

Come on, Joe; give it up. You Ron Paul worshippers see your government employees as this deep, nefarious "Matrix" but when you break down any one of your claims, it always turns out that YOU are your own worst enemies: ignorant 'Taxpayers'!

Sorry to break it to you, Joe...

but that just isn't so.

But We Can Take a Section 4304(c)7(B)....

Man, "liberty4us", you sound like my CPA used to, a decade ago when I was still in the "fair share" line! I take it you're still paying DC al-Qaeda shakedown...comparing one set of CPA hieroglyphics with another to see how much of your stolen cash the IRS might give you back under a McCaniac presidency than under an Osama Obama one?

With all due respect, this arguing about a 28-cent refund from the thug who just emptied your whole bank account is what is meant by "can't see the forest for the trees".

I can't believe people here in the U.S of A don't do more investigating
before blindly saying "Obama" he's our man! This is going to be very
interesting to say the least!

Let the Truth Be Known!

Taxes, debunked.

awasumund, yours is the most ironic statement I've seen in a while. If you did a little fact checking on your own, you might just happen across this:

"Osama, he's our man!"

Obama...Osama...not much difference. Both want to sqeeze blood out of America.

Barack Hussein Obama bin Laden is his FULL name. Look it up! Do your investigating!

Just kidding. Actually, the fellow is the most articulate socialist I've heard in American politics; much like Mike Dukakis. Even better at public speaking. Senator Osama is a great public speaker, but he's a total socialist.

Considering the $2 trillion in new spending for programs he has already proposed...you Taxpayers are going to have a much heavier load to pull if Barrack Hussein Osama is your next president.

In any case, he sure isn't going to be MY next president.
