Patients with terminal illnesses are being made to die prematurely under an NHS scheme to help end their lives, leading doctors have warned.
In a letter to The Daily Telegraph, a group of experts who care for the terminally ill claim that some patients are being wrongly judged as close to death.

Under NHS guidance introduced across England to help doctors and medical staff deal with dying patients, they can then have fluid and drugs withdrawn and many are put on continuous sedation until they pass away.

n 2007-08 16.5 per cent of deaths in Britain came about after continuous deep sedation, according to researchers at the Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry, twice as many as in Belgium and the Netherlands.

Man's Finger Bitten Off in Scuffle at Health Care Rally   ++ click here ++
A 65-year-old man had his finger bitten off Wednesday evening at a health care rally in Thousand Oaks, according to the Ventura County Sheriff's Department.

Sheriff's investigators were called to Hillcrest and Lynn Road at 7:26 p.m.

About 100 protesters sponsored by MoveOn.org were having a rally supporting health care reform.

The man took his finger and walked to Los Robles hospital for treatment.

I think before the Obama administration pursue for the health care reform they have to think several times if it will really benefit the American Citizen. They have to bear in mind that any reform program are addressed to the need and welfare of the people but what is the sense if they are protesting and very much against for that reform. Did you read the articles about the McCain rally - which he held in his "church," a "church" he simply joined since it is the largest Baptist church in Phoenix (and thus Zionist leaning) when he began his race for the presidential election? And how most are holding these meetings just in order to "appear" to be consulting their constituency - when the entire focus of this bill as written is so full of Constitutional violations it is laughable?

And which country are you really a "heart" citizen, since it does appear you been out of touch with what has occurred "progressively" in the American politican scene for the last, oh, forty years?
