(my comments on a Yahoo headline article I saw posted today; link below):

I guess this would be better than what we have already, but it still wouldn't be what the constitution states how we should go to war and it's a bit backwards. This states that if the president wants to go to war, he should consult with Congress and then Congress will vote on whether or not they agree. According to the constitution, Congress alone should decide when to go to war and then once they do, hand it over to the president to handle. According to this panel, "the current law governing the nation's war powers has failed to promote cooperation between the executive and legislative branches."...(No S%*T!!). That would be more of a euphamistic way of saying, "The president's out of the control and Congress can't do anything to stop it."
