Barring a dramatic change in the political landscape over the next three weeks, Democrats appear headed toward a decisive victory on Election Day that would give them broad power over the federal government.
Former Reagan political adviser Ed Rollins likened today's landscape to that in 1980, when voters were angry at President Jimmy Carter and the Democrats and turned to Reagan in droves once they felt comfortable with the idea of him as president.
"Barack has met the threshold," Rollins said. "Once Reagan met the threshold, people wanted to get rid of Carter and they did in a landslide. This is going to turn into a landslide."

There is a rare factional aplit in the American Global Elite that began (at least) since the 911 "Big Event" Blunder (two planes failed to reach target.)
The Neocon/AIPAC?War Party Oil-arms-drugs complex is the force behind Bush/Cheney and McCain. They believe in 100% support for Israel, open hostility and plans for war with Iran-Syria-Pakistan, including massive bombings, possible nukes, 3rd world starvation, in which the US/UK/Israel will rule the world.
This faction supports McCain.
But the Neoliberal/CFR/Brezenski/Eastern Liberal Academic Establishment, though in agreement with many of the elite positions, have split with the war-mongering, and is critical of Bush, and believe that the power of AIPAC should be curbed, that the US should press for a Palestinian state, that confrontation with Iran and the rest of the Muslim world is not needed, that there should be some at least token respect for the Constitution, and are against torture. They support O'bama.
This election is another dog and pony show, but this time, the elite are seriously split, and the neocons are losing.
And the sheeple carry on....

Over three-quarters, 76 percent, disapprove of President Bush

WASHINGTON DC (CNN) -- On the day that President-elect Barack Obama is visiting the White House, a new national poll suggests that the current occupant at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue is the most unpopular president since approval ratings were first sought more than six decades ago.
President Bush has the lowest presidential approval rating in the history of such polling. Seventy-six percent of those questioned in a CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey released Monday disapprove of how President Bush is handling his job.
That's an all-time high in CNN polling and in Gallup polling dating back to World War II.
"No other president's disapproval rating has gone higher than 70 percent. Bush has managed to do that three times so far this year," says CNN polling director Keating Holland. "That means that Bush is now more unpopular than Richard Nixon was when he resigned from office during Watergate with a 66 percent disapproval rating."
Before Bush, the record holder for presidential disapproval was Harry Truman, with a 67 percent disapproval rating in January of 1952, his last full year in office.

If they are loosing then we should start to decide who it is who is going to arrest them. Otherwise, if we are not able to do that, then they are not loosing.
Americans still wont even impeach Bush, much less physically stop those who are and will perpetuate all that is wrong. So, again, how are they loosing. They just got away with the biggest bank heist in all of history, and sent that wealth offshore. How are they loosing?
I see Americans forgetting about the Bush admin with the next, much like most American where worried over clintons blowjob, when he was killing millions in Africa.
And then in the next admin, same thing. A repeat, except worse, Americans get hot martial law.
Most people dont even want to talk about that, much less prepare themselves mentally and physically.

Neocon is a term used for labeling the other arm of the same body.
Their arm might have to be amputated, but their body will live on if not destroyed.
They are not loosing, the body. That body have been eating healthily and has been working out in a secret gym for some time now.
What is taking place now is exactly what took place when the Romans first marched on Jerusalem(to save petty arguments, I will leave this at a metaphorical level), retreated, and four years came back again to the surprised population that was caught off guard.

reply: They're falling apart from within their own ranks, infighting, taking out hits on each other. In other words, they're imploding, which makes them vulnerable. Then the Judicial system can take advantage of their weakened state.

The power funding and pushing these people will just find other people to fill their shoes like has been done for a long time now.
