How is it that after Saddam is gone, we are paying more? Are the Iraqi people profiting from the glut of Iraqi oil? I think not. So who is? An increase in supply and larger prices. US aid stops the Israelis from ending the Palestinian threat in the same manner that the Arabs are ending the African threat in Darfur. The same manner that your favorite Arab, saddam, ended the Kurd and Shi'ite thrat. The same way Egypt ended the Yemenite threat.
