I just finished reading this article about how there will be a roll call and tally sheet at the Democratic convention. From what I understand Hillary is trying to count the number of delegates she had before handing the nomination over to Obama. Is this a last ditch effort to actually win? Or is there something I'm missing? It appears her chances are slim.
Any thoughts?

Maybe Hillary is using this as a means of securing the VP spot. She agrees to give up the delegate battle in exchange for being named VP.
Then we end up with Obama as pres, Hillary as VP, and Al Gore as the czar of the newly created department of the environment. Now there's a dream team! Or should I say a nightmare team?
Now for the conspiracy minded readers; After two years Obama mysteriously kicks the bucket leaving Hillary as the president. That would allow her to run for two more terms for a total of ten years as president. After that, Chelsea will be old enough to run. Arghh! The never-ending nightmare!
Do you mean literally gunned down? Or lost her position to someone else?
It would really make me wonder if she pulled off an upset. It'd be exciting, but curios none-the-less.
the guy was shot to death, and then the assassin was murdered by police. Jack Ruby Style.
Government has solved the age old dilemma of the alchemists. In order to turn lead into gold, just add blood.
(edit)......
to convince some delegates to vote for her, to see if she can't pull off a surprise upset..
The head of the Democratic Party in Little Rock (her old gauntlet) was just gunned down -- maybe he disagreed!!!
