I just got the royal screwjob and bait and switch from DirecTV. And after going over 5 years after boycotting Comcast, I now see how DirecTV works. Here's what happened.

I finally got bored and missed the Discovery Channel (never found it) and the MMA fights. So I called DirecTV after checking out their offering.

I was told that I would get HBO (amazed that there were 5 kinds) and Showtime and Encore/STAR and the other fluff channels for or whatever they are for promotional period, and I said I wanted Showtime for $49.99 thereafter, and they said I would. I wouldn't have paid $49.99 for a promotional period for basic channels after their promotional period of Showtime, HBO, etc, when I wanted SHOWTIME and DirecTV. But they agreed to it, then said I signed a service agreement.

Now I am paying them $220 to cancel the fee and I have to send them the box back. And all I did was call to complain that I somehow lost Showtime, and that is when they said I needed to pay for it.

So they said they would give me 6 months free and then Showtime is $12. I told them to come get their shit.

And DirectTV can kiss my ass. I'll never do business with them ever again. This was just another typical bait and switch soliticitation to the end result, and to boot, while watching the Olympics, these sons of bitches cancelled my service within 10 seconds of telling them off and me telling them Showtime disappeared.

So they hire people that will say anything for payment, then they shake me out of $220 upon cancellation.

I can guarantee you I will never allow this company to do business with any family member. I would let you know I believe I got royally screwed. And you should not do business with DirecTV based on the tactic I just experienced.

they can hide behind a service contract, I do not believe they were honest with me and hijacked my account, which is atypical of Corporate America.

That was my short experience with DirecTV. And I just wanted to know where Showtime went. And I was amazed they were trying to tell me about the service contract and that I had to pay for Showtime which was not what they told me when I contacted them.

BEWARE. I have to pay $220.

I say that is fraud, but what do I know. The courts would allow it. So I'll pay them. And boycott their asses. And so should you.

No contracts. Bottom

No contracts. Bottom line.

Government has solved the age old dilemma of the alchemists. In order to turn lead into gold, just add blood.

What if they carried BTM?

Would you reconsider your opinion if they carried Break The Matrix TV?
