Why not think big? It takes the same effort as thinking small. In Texas, there is an effort underway to find and elect a constitutionalist for governor in 2010. In previous articles I had suggested that Ron Paul consider running, but that seems unlikely due to his focus on federal and international issues like the US Fed and US foreign policy - so we are looking for someone else. I endorse the bulk of his findings based on my personal knowledge and experience to which, in all probability, Allen would not have been privy. Additionally, the series of national and international events over the 30 plus years since the publication of this book lends great support and validation to his thesis.

source: http://www.stratfor.com The finance ministers of the G-7 countries are meeting in Washington. The first announcements on the meetings will come this weekend. It is not too extreme to say that the outcome of these meetings could redefine how the financial markets work, certainly for months and perhaps for a generation. The Americans are arguing that the regime of intervention and bailouts be allowed to continue. Others, like the British, are arguing for what in effect would be the nationalization of financial markets on a global scale. It is not clear what will be decided, but it is clear that this meeting matters.

Okay, I will admit that I was very surprised at the House vote today, but it was a really happy moment when "GGsBoo" called me at work to let me know. The following is a breakout of the voting. "Y" means they voted FOR the "Bail-Out," "N" means against, and "X" means they didn't bother to show up for the voting (unbelievable).

Hi Everyone, I received the below email from the Nader team this morning, I pledged, I added my first content of that awesome video of Nader and Obama Girl, and have been watching the members tick up for the last two hours. I think I was around number 1200(for the October 8 pledge) and now we are at over 2000(I think with the passion of the Nader supporters, today we will break the 10,000 pledges). Awesome. Just wanted to bring to the table the future for childrens' rights. thanks for your time. Noon update now 2135 pledges. Onwards.

"Rob Marco has decided to quit his job and move out of his house with the goal of building a portable, one-room home out of almost entirely recycled materials. He's also chronicling the project on a blog in the hope of teaching others about the benefits of simple, sustainable living. In this video I talked to Rob about why he decided to make such a signficant lifestyle change, the materials he's using and what can be learned from living the simple life."
