Galloway blamed Islamic fundamentalists after 9/11...While I appreciate his passion in this piece and wish we had more outspoken politicians like him stateside, I cannot call him a friend or champion of liberty...His contradictions and omissions of truth are prevalent.
GG is not an unwise person, by any stretch of the imagination...So why does he continue to play the fool, continue to obfuscate simple truths ??...Frankly, I don't give a damn...His facade is quite transparent.
this is the first time i saw this Galloway character right here in this youtube clip. to me he sounds like he's making sense here. i just saw some youtube clips of him talking about the current wars and he seems to be right on. heard one of him ridiculing a call-in who was claiming Muslim clerics are evil. but i haven't seen anything about him "blaming Islamic fundamentalists after 9/11". do you have a link to back this up?
and gets his point across
and makes sense I think
If this was boxing he would've won by TKO
Maybe Mr. Galloway was like I was; after 9-11, I wanted to join whatever organization I could to get at whoever was behind the attack. Now, I'm not sure that we didn't attack ourselves. There are too many unanswered questions and too many people who profited from the World Trade Center attacks. I don't trust profiteers! It always seems that if one follows the money trail, one is ahead of the game. When the embassy people were taken hostage in Iran during President Carter's tenure, who profited from that? After that we had 20% interest rates for mortgages (I know because I bought a house in NY with a 20% mortgage). I suspect that we bailed out our bankers and oil companies who lost a lot when Iran nationalized their petroleum industry. We froze their accounts in the U.S. after the hostages were taken. Coincidence? I think not. Maybe it gave them the chance to recuperate their losses in Iran with 20% interest rates. What a world!
