MEXICO CITY (AFP) — A private jet that crash-landed almost one year ago in eastern Mexico carrying 3.3 tons of cocaine had previously been used for CIA "rendition" flights, a newspaper report said here Thursday, citing documents from the United States and the European Parliament.

The plane was carrying Colombian drugs for the fugitive leader of Mexico's Sinaloa cartel, Joaquin "Chapo" Guzman, when it crash-landed in the Yucatan peninsula on September 24, El Universal reported.

The daily said it had obtained documents from the United States and the European Parliament which "show that that plane flew several times to Guantanamo, Cuba, presumably to transfer terrorism suspects."

It said the European Parliament was investigating the private Grumman Gulfstream II, registered by the European Organization for the Safety of Air Navigation, for suspected use in CIA "rendition" flights in which prisoners are covertly transferred to a third country or US-run detention centers.

It also said the US Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) logbook registered that the plane had traveled between US territory and the US military base in Guantanamo.

It said the FAA registered its last owner as Clyde O'Connor in Pompano Beach, Florida.

Extraordinary rendition has been harshly criticized since it began in the aftermath of the September 11, 2001 attacks in the United States.

This link ,above, will give you the info that the first article left out. The CIA has been running drug into this country for many years and have been caught doing it hundreds of times. This doesn't stop them though, they still need to have Marijuana listed as a schedule one drug on DEA drug scheduling list. (next link)

This link is pretty good amount of facts gathered from various locations about state/federal prison stats.

Below is a little info on a group that is big in the border states of the US. Not many people talk about it on the news but they practically own some parts of Texas and Arizona. I must mention that I have seen video, but can't find it, of this group escorting drugs and human cargo right into the US as Texas rangers and border patrol watch on and do nothing. They are heavily armed but this kinda stuff goes on all the time and actually there has been several local Texas law enforcement officers along with border patrol and Rangers that have ended up dead in shootouts but neither FBI, DEA, or ATF has done anything about it. They seem to ignore and let them run their business smoothly.

In my opinion the CIA is the

In my opinion the CIA is the biggest drug dealer. They sell drugs all around the world. This crap about war on drugs and catching the drug dealers is just a mask that helps them to eliminate the competition in drug dealing as well.

Extraordinary rendition has been harshly criticized since it began in the aftermath of the September 11, 2001 attacks in the United States.

Rendition was put into place under the Clinton administration. PRE 9/11

Not Gung Ho for Legalization

Although I'm not gung ho for legalization of hard drugs, you can definitely make as case for the idea that harsher drugs and deadlier drugs (such as crack cocain and meth) would be one of the outcomes of stricter penalties. Also am opposed to Hypocrisy, cartels, complexes, ect... And I doubt anybody could really untangle all the "ties" and "hidden agendas" that exist within this monstrosity. if you go to the above link (mad cow morning news) and scroll down to "Mother of all scandals" this would just be the tip of the iceberg. (A connection between electronic voting and cocaine???) Truth is stranger than fiction. And opposed to "war on" anything except a properly declared war on another country. The powers inherent in the U.S. Constitution. If nobody understands the rules than the criminals get the upper hand.

there is an error in that

there is an error in that article, it should read : "The plane was carrying Colombian drugs for the leader of Mexico's Sinaloa cartel, and CIA Director Michael V. Hayden, when it crash-landed in the Yucatan peninsula on September 24, El Universal reported."

Government has solved the age old dilemma of the alchemists. In order to turn lead into gold, just add blood.

edit: i probably just earned myself a rendition flight for that one.

I hope they take me somewhere nice.
