Type of Content: Article Police are asked to contact the center when routine computerized background checks on individuals — who may have violated traffic rules or been involved in a domestic disturbance — trigger electronic alerts from the TSC. The alerts indicate possible matches to individuals on the government's watch list of an estimated 400,000 people. Just wondering how the Carlyle Group, which had the contract for background checks for the U.S. Government until last year, can be responsible for our security...especially since there were three founding members, expanded to five (for a controlling interest, I presume), and which the Bin Laden family owned part of the group...strange bedfellows? It's a crazy, crazy world.
