This is a great doc.

I have watched this show numerous times, and I believe that it provides a revealing look at how the military-industrial complex has influenced every segment of American society. I think that Chalmers Johnson and Gore Vidal make excellent commentaries about how public opinion can be easily manipulated towards war without any thought of future consequences.

Overall, I consider this a must-watch for anyone concerned about American foreign policy as well as the militaristic culture that has emerged in post WWII American society.

Agreed!!!

It sure gives you a basic understanding pertaining to how and why. I feel very strongly, as most of you do, that if we get a true understanding about the past, we will be able to fix the future. Similiar to how the good doctor himself stated understanding the past things we as a nation have done in the middle east, will help fix & hopefully repair things in the future!!

"One Reason We Fight"

Overall this is a good video, but at least as far as the Iraq war goes, this is only one of the several reasons we are in the war. There is the typical "progressive" smearing of capitalism at about 1:33.

Karen Kwiatkowski for President.
