I tend to discount these reports, but this is worth repeating just to be aware of what rumors are circulating. If this is a trial balloon, it is a weak effort. Of course the purported attack is no invasion, but it could be a means of stimulating an Iranian response, escalating into an open conflict. Certainly Hezbollah's activity must be worrying to Israel and her friends in Washington. After last year's failure against Hezbollah in Lebanon, might an attack on Iran be a means of applying pressure to a more sensitive point?
